I looked around me in shock. How was I back here?
Mom!
I quickly ran through my old house to her on the couch.
"Delilah," she said taking my hand, "Go, now! Don't turn back ever,"
"But momma," I whimpered, "I don't want to leave you,"
"I will always be with you," she said taking off her necklace and putting it on me, "always, just never give up on hope, I love you,"
I saw a shadow moving towards us. Mommy pushed me into the opposite hallway so I could see in, but they couldn't see out. I watched as my dad came in. I was going to speak up, but he had a metal object with him, so I stayed quiet. I watched as he walked over to Mommy and hit her while he listened to her scream. I wanted to ask what he was doing, but I was to scared to speak. As soon as he begun he was done leaving the room. I waited until I heard the front door slam shut.
"Mommy," I said crying and running over to her, "Mommy, don't go, I don't want you to leave me,"
She didn't speak. She didn't move. She never spoke again. She never moved again. She never told me she loved me again... But I knew she did. I lived by her words. I knew she was always with me.
"I-I love you Mommy," I whispered but not towards her body but towards the sky.
I laid my head down onto her chest. There was no heartbeat to hear. Not a single beat to be heard ever again....
I sat up quickly in bed. Did I scream? I listened to hear the sound of movement, but heard none. I let out the breath I had been holding. So this was the memory I had been suppressing for so long. The death of my mother. And also my real name. I had always known that my first father had given me the name Lacy. My name was Delilah. It sounded right.
"Give me it back!" I heard someone yelling.
I sighed. Boys! I ran downstairs to see Zayn tackling Harry who was holding what looked like hair gel.
"Lacy help me!" Yelled Harry tossing me the hair gel. It felt greasy!
"Here Zayn," I said handing it to Zayn and sitting on Harry, "So how are you gonna get revenge on Harry?"
Everyone stared at me.
"You helped him?" Said Harry his face was red.
"Aha, yup," I said smiling down at Harry.
"I don't you sitting on him is making him upset at all," muttered Liam.
"Shut up!" Said Harry.
They began to yell at each other.
"Guys, shut up," I said but they were all to loud to hear me, "I'm giving you all tell the count of three before I scream as loud as I can,"
"One,"
"Two,"
"Ugh, three,"
I screamed as loud as I had ever screamed. They all all backed up and covered there ears. I smirked.
"STOP IT!" Screamed Niall, "It's torture!"
