Ever sense I met you

Chapter 4

Once I am inside Adams car. I am recognized by the music that is in the car. I had no idea Adam was into The Arctic Monkeys. I smile at the thought. who knew we shared the same taste in music. "Why are you smiling?" I'm brought back reality and I for the first time I don't know what to say to him.

"I--um-um-" I can't even say a full sentence It was a bad idea to go on this date.

"what's wrong? Don't be nervous it's just me" His calmness makes me settle down and I find myself not as nervous anymore is he always this calm? He probably goes on dates all the time.

"No I'm not nervous" I say a little to high pitched than I wanted to. "It's just that I didn't know you were into this kind of music it kinda got me off guard!"

"What? The Arctic Monkeys!? They are the best, My absolute favorite!"

"Mine too! whats your favorite song from them?"

"She's Thunderstorms" he says proudly. Wow If only he knew I was obsessed with that song and still am.

"Whats yours?" I don't want to say the same song as him I'm sure he will just tease me about.

"R U Mine" I say. There Newest songs are awesome anyway better than ever.

"Ahh! so your into the newer songs they not that bad I guess" He has this big smirk on his face while finally starting the car he turns up the volume and we are listing to Arebella. so he is into the new album.

When we finally arrive to the restaurant Adam gets out of the car first and walks to the passenger side to open the door for me. He surprises me a lot all ready.
When we walk inside the waiter greets us and leads us to our table. It's a small restaurant. The smell in here is amazing and I realize I haven't eaten all day. When the waiter gets our drink order he leaves us with the menus there is so much to choose from I don't know what to pick!

"do you know what you are ordering. You look a little overwhelmed by the menu jasmine?"
Wow I really need to learn how to hide me emotions better.
" No I don't know actually there is so much to choose from and I've never been here." I say a little embarrassed but when I look up to Adam he is smiling at me he better not be making fun of me.
"It's ok I'll just order us the same thing!" He ordered us arroz con pollo ( rice with chicken.) I think it was and right when he says that to the waiter I remember that Daisy told me to order that too! I really need to remember things better. Adam lets the waiter leave and I watch him staring at me from the corner of my eye while I look over the restaurant it's so beautiful. They have the most beautiful art in here it's so fascinating. But one in particular that stands out the most for me. It's a girl holding a bunch of flowers It's beautiful it's stands out so much out of the rest of paintings.
"It's a beautiful isn't it!?" I stare at Adam a little confused.
"Diego Rivera painted it in 1931. One of his most famous art projects he ever made."
"I didn't know you had a interest in art!"
"We are just meeting each other that's why I invited you here but yes I love art. I am going for a art major here at school I want to teach people what I can see and do with just a pencil."
I'm a little shocked by the words I am hearing from Adam I had no idea he had this very smart side of him. It makes me see a new side if him I would've never thought he would have.
" that's a very beautiful way to put it Adam" He shakes his head and smiles.
"Enough about me what about you what are some of your own interests?"
" well I am studying for astronomy. I love everything about space I have a Internship ship here at the space museum I start on Wednesday I'm a little nervous"

"you are very interesting I would've never guessed that from you jasmine." I am very pleased with how  Adam has been behaving. The way he talked about art got to me. I've never seen anyone so passionate about something. It made me realize there is so much in a person then what we see.

Once we got done eating we went to the car and Adam drove me back to my dorm. Adam walked me all the way to my room even though I told him he didn't have to. "I had a really nice time Adam thank you"
"Yea I had a great time Jasmine. Maybe we can do this another time?" I liked the way that sounded I would love to hang out with Adam again. I quickly searched in my bag for a piece of paper and a pen and I wrote my number on it. I wasn't sure if I was doing this right. I just went off of what I've seen in the movies. I handed Adam my number and started turning the knob to enter my room when I heard Adam speaking again "jasmine I really want to kiss you but I don't know how you would feel about It um I-I mean we don't have to. It was out first date after all." Seeing how nervous Adam was so so adorable. Without thinking I grabbed Adams jacket and kissed him. Honestly best decision I've ever made.
