Roman's POV

Dean and I ran back to our locker rooms to get geared up.

I threw on my vest as fast as I could, and rushed over to meet Dean and Seth over near the entrance of the arena.

In the meantime, we were waiting for the okay to go out and interrupt the Wyatt's segment.

They were cutting the promo of the century, and there's no doubt that they took pride in having that title.

This would be the last time we faced each other before the big night.

We didn't want to think about the repercussions, we just wanted to prove to everyone that we had all the tools they seemed to lack.

As we stayed anticipating our cue, we talked about how everything would run smoothly.

Seth and I agreed to put all our animosity behind us and christen business as our priority.

I know he's still mad at me, and I know what I have to do to make it all better. I just don't know how, I thought to myself.

Sierra. Hotel. India. Echo. Lima. Delta. The Shield.

We finally received our cue and abandoned the backstage area.

There was a sea of fans, and it was hard to think of it as reality.

We walked down the steps guiding us to the ring. We reached the barricade, and hopped over it the way we were interpreted based off our personas.

The Wyatt's stared us down like three hawks just waiting for their prey.

We huddled up, then came to a conclusion. We knew we were smarter than the Wyatt's. We'd always think things through before we'd put them to action. That's what made us different.

We parted each other, and joined the other three sides of the ring.

I approached the ropes near the announce table, Dean went to the left, and Seth went to the right.

I was staring dead into Bray's eyes, unfazed. Dean and Seth just lingered on, waiting for my permission.

Their wish was granted. I entered the ring, as they followed shortly after.

I immediately squared off with Bray, while Dean took Harper, and Seth took Rowan. We hit them with everything we were capable of.

Our actions resulted in them being flung over the top rope, and Dean and Seth flying on them simultaneously. Dean and Seth got back to their feet and revisited the ring. We all joined our fists, as we looked on at the Wyatt's surrendering from the war.

I found Seth in one of the backstage hallways and started walking towards him, eager to talk about our future.

I was just going to lay it all out there. Holding back wasn't an option at this point.

There were so many people around, but that didn't matter. All that mattered in the moment was Seth, and I didn't care who knew.

I had saw Dean, and it was apparent that he wanted to talk to me.

"Roman! Roman, I know you hear me!"

"Not now Dean!" I yelled back.

I inched closer and closer, and called out to Seth. He turned in my direction.

"I need to talk to you."

Dean was still following me, but must've jerked back, as he was in shock when he read my intentions.

"What do you-"

Seth was caught off guard when I cupped his face and crushed my lips against his. He just stood there, letting it occur.

It was about a two second capture, but I needed it.

I craved it. For some type of clarification. I let go slowly and began to rub his cheek with my thumb. Our foreheads collided. All I could feel was his fast paced breathing hitting my warm flesh.

"Ro, I-I" was all he could let out.

I caressed his bottom lip with my fingers to quiet him, and gingerly gripped his chin in the process.

"Shh I know. Look, I want you...I can't believe I've been such an idiot for this long. Let's go somewhere private. Explanations are to be expected. I know that, but can you handle it?"

He took a deep breath again, nodding his head nervously. He moved my hand up to his rapid heartbeat.

"Can you feel that?"

"That's what you, Roman Reigns, do to me."

I beamed, and elongated my arm to grab a hold of his hand, intertwining our fingers.

"Let's go."

It felt good, and it damn sure felt right. I tensed up from the entanglement, and I know he did too. There was just so much tension that neither of us wanted to admit.

We both wanted to keep putting it off, but I knew now that I wasn't going to waste another second not telling him how I truly felt.

I walked away with him to my locker room. I didn't even have to turn around to know that Dean was still there.

I could just feel his presence.

Feel him being empathetic towards me, and supportive of the courage I had now shown I'd obtained.
