Obliviously Existing

Dean's POV

Renee and I were still on the mission of finding someone new for Roman.

We had been trying to come up with a plan for so long, and Roman knew about it. I don't know how or when, but eventually he found out all by himself. 

Ever since then, I felt like he was secretly judging us.

Currently we all sat in my locker room enjoying our weekend off, and Roman was turning down yet another opportunity put out by us to meet someone new.

"Dean, I appreciate what you and Renee are trying to do...really. It's just...I don't think I'll ever be over Seth."

We both just looked at him, as he now solely spoke to me.

"I'm still in love with him uce...even after everything." He shook his head, almost as if he was in complete disbelief of how he was capable of feeling.

"That's my problem, I never give up on the people who don't care about me...and hurt me."

I sighed, debating if what I was about to say to him would be smart. However, I still decided to test the waters. 

"Roman...Seth does care about you, but please...you can't beat a dead horse. Get over him! You'll feel so much better without the thoughts of him in your head."

Roman was evidently frustrated over my request, and made it even more known with what he confessed next. 

"BUT THERE IS NO ME WITHOUT SETH! DON'T YOU GET IT?!" he yelled, almost becoming breathless.

I groaned a little, sighing shortly after. 

"Jeez...I will never understand the power Seth Rollins has over men." I confessed, with a familiar expression of exasperation written all over my face. 

"Me neither." Renee uttered, earning a smirk from me but an annoyed sigh from Roman.

"What?! I just don't understand how Seth could cheat on you. I mean...look at you!" Renee said to Roman, and his feelings of annoyance were out the window.

"Hey!" I instantly became jealous as I turned to him and saw him smiling, while trying not to blush in the process. 

I widened my eyes and turned by attention back to Renee.

"I'm just saying!" she admitted as I gave her a playful angry glare and she stuck her tongue out at me. 

I grinned and pulled her in for a kiss, giving her a quick peck before stopping to look into her eyes. 

"It's me and you against the world babe." she said, and gave me a quick peck too, which earned a smile from me.

"All is forgiven..." I whispered, releasing her and briefly directing my attention back to Roman, as he stood there awkwardly. 

I continued the conversation we were all having prior to the banter that disrupted it. Despite Roman listening to what I had to say, I still solely talked to Renee, getting back to the matter at hand. 

"And besides! Seth was the one who was crazy about him. Asking about him, talking about him for hours..." I stated, as Renee agreed and nodded her head. 

"Wait what-" Roman whispered in the background, which made me briefly devote myself to him again. He was smiling at what I confessed. 

"It was so annoying!" I voiced, as I faced Renee once more. 

"Then he finally gets the man of his dreams and does this...unbelievable." I mumbled, letting out a huff of anger. 

With nothing left to say, Renee and I both focused on Roman again. We knew he probably was thinking about a lot, and had even more to say than us.
