"Shall we?" The doctor asked a few meters away for the tardis doors.
Elizabeth stood next to him and bit her lip nervously.
"Really?" She smiled a jittery feeling was currently in her stomach
"Of course." The doctor entwined their fingers together innocently
Her hearts raced as they walked to the doors of the tardis together. Once they had stopped the doctor squeezed her hand tightly and she looked down.
"We're really here? There really out there?" She asked in a tone that was laced with nervous excitement.
"You ready?"
She took a deep breath and nodded, the doctor opened the tardis doors with his other hand and she gasped a hand was softly placed on chest in awe.
"Wow." She murmured almost speechless her eyes darted around at the magnificent sight in front of her
"I know." The doctor said in a soft voice looking at them self
"There s-so beautiful." She whispered letting her hand drop from his
They turned to look at each other and she searched his eyes for something that was unknown even though she was looking .
"Thank you, so much." She giggled throwing her arms up and around his neck and hugging him
He hugged back his face getting crunched up in the process. When she pulled back a mischievous grin was smacked on her lips.
"I'll get the tea."
"Why?" He asked his features crunched once in confusion
"For a picnic looking out at the stars of course you silly boy." She shook her head
Walking out of sight of the doctor. He looked out at the stars again and grinned, he'd seen them more than a hundred times before and even he used to dream of them when he was little like her. He was old, very, very old, she made him excited again, like he'd never seen them before, and boy was he thankful for that.
"Doctor, do you want biscuits with that?" She yelled from the kitchen her voice echoing through the halls
The doctor turned back towards the inside of the tardis and called back,
"Have we got any jammie dodgers?"
When Elizabeth got back they sat down on the edge of the tardis drinking tea and nibbling on jammie dodgers.
"So how'd you find me doctor?" She asked him in curiosity
"It's a long story." He warned
"And we have all the time in the world."
The cast in mind back and then started
"Well I was in accent Rome one day, there'd been a report of usual things happening... I suppose you wouldn't know about all the aliens, I've seen many by now. I successfully warned them that the world was protected and was on the way back to the tardis when a lovely girl named Evelyn was waiting around for me, she told me a prophecy by one of their elders, it was about you."
"Me, really? In accent Rome?"
"The prophets say that you waited for a doctor to come and show you the stars that you'd even save the world one day."
"Thank you for finding me, thank you for showing me who I was. And maybe I can thank Evelyn someday."
"Thank you Elizabeth."
The doctor finished off his cup of tea. Elizabeth sat there looking at out the stars, between them it was a comfortable silence. Elizabeth knew that his apperception meant more than he was leading on. And he was so very thankful he hoped that she got the picture.
"So I'm going to save the world huh?"
"Well, I-I was hoping that I could show you a few things before we get down to business."
"Is that an invitation, doctor?"
"Yes." He blurted out
"Okay, but...were first?" She asked looking out at the stars for the last time
"Future or Past?"
The doctor hopped up and ran to the tardis' console
"Past and make it good."
"The past it is." He said flicking a switch up
She giggled.
"I can't wait."
