Hogwarts Mini-Story!

Calvin Ethans' POV

I laughed and waved 'goodbye' to a group of kids I just passed bye. I always had a thing for making random friends. I don't know what it was, but I liked it, and was happy.

I walked down the halls carrying my books for History of Magic in one arm, singing them at my side.

At first I didn't realize why my heart accelerated. At first I thought I was hit with a curse. But then wouldn't I be screaming if someone yelled "Crucio"? Or I would be dead if someone called "Avada Kadavra!"

Then I thought it was that love potion. I heard someone tried to break in it. What if they did and it spread around and the first person I saw, I was going to love for no reason?

But then I figured it out when I actually focused on what was going on.

I just saw the prettiest girl in Hogwarts. She walked down the hallway, opposite of me.

She was a mysterious Slytherin Keeper I never really saw before.

History of Magic had to wait. I still had twenty minutes anyways...

I walked along step beside her and smiled awkwardly.

She smiled back and we both stopped in the middle of the hallway to talk. My heart fluttered as I looked at her green eyes and she looked at my brown ones. She looked down at the floor for a moment.

"I'm Calvin Ethan." I said, putting my hand out for her to shake, feeling nervous. I tried not to be obvious about the way I felt.

"Rochelle Grey." She said in a kind voice. She took my hand lightly and shook it a little before we both dropped our hands back to our sides.

Before I could say anything else I blurted the first thought that came to my mind. "I got lost in your eyes, could you help me out?"

She looked back up at me. "Sure, where ya' heading?" She joked.

I released my held breath. "History of Magic." I told her, fumbling to show her my books. They fell to the floor and I bent to pick them up, being clumsy.

I picked them up just to drop them again and she laughed a little. "It's that way." She pointed the way I was heading before.

"Thanks." I said in a smile.

I turned to leave.

"Wait..." She called and I turned back around. "I got lost in yours... mind helping me?"

I hid a blush and nodded, then walked her to her class.
