(A/N so instead of 5 years later Imma do 10 years later:)
Raven's POV
"Mommy! Sam is being mean again!" Liam, my 3 year old son ran up to me. Sam, my 8 year old, ran behind her. "No I wasn't, he grabbed my toy out of my hands first!" I sigh. "Okay you two, tell me what happened." "He grabbed my truck and ran away with it." "Sam called me a baby!" They said at the same time. "But you are a baby!" Micah came up behing Liam and picked him up. "No you're the baby!" "no you" "no you" 'Thank you' I mouthed to Micah, who nodded and walked away with Liam. Sam pouted. "Hey buddy, you wanna come play a game with me?" I looked at Judah. "Child safe! No" Judah said as he made a killing motion. "you know." "Can I mom? Pleaseeee." Yes of course, play some games with your uncle." I chuckle. They walk away. I'll talk to the kids about the other thing later, right now I needed to focus on that present for Elijah. Or well, more for our whole family, but you get the idea. Sarah had already said yes to my idea and the whole building part was done. I just needed some last few decorations.
You see, Elijah and I have talked many times about moving somewhere more fitting for the children, but close enough to the compound so that we don't have to travel for too long. Those two points got us to realise we couldn't really live in our dream house, because that would be a cute cottage in the forest, or at least trees behind the back garden, you get where I'm going at? Yea well, we've searched and searched, but what we found was either hours away by plane, or too small for a family of 4, almost 5. So I came up with this idea, that we built our dream house ourselves. We have this whole pinterest board with al of these pictures of in- and outsides of cute little houses. I put them all together and sketched our dream house. It took months to built, but I did this as a surprise for our 10 year anniversary so it is worth it.
"Hey love, are you ready to see the big surprise?" I asked Elijah. He smiled softly at me. "Yeah, I'm ready." He kissed the top of my head. I gave him a small package. He gave me a confused look. "I thought you said big?" he joked. "Just open it." I chuckled. He opened the small box and took out the key. The gears in his head seemed to turn until he realised. "YOU BOUGHT A HOUSE?!" He yelled very surprised. "No no no, I built a house. Here, in the back yard of the compound." I laughed at his very confused face. "Just go take a look." He grabbed my hand and dragged me along with him. "Is it that thing under the huge cover, that you told me not to touch?" My laugh was his answer, yes. He pulled the huge covers of off the house and stood there amazed at the house in front of him.
"This is a dream! That's literally our dream house! And big as... fudge." the kids were standing next to him, I laughed again. "Mommy, what is that?" "Our new house honey." "Wait, so we won't live with uncle Micah and uncle Judah and aunt Shiloh and all the other uncles and aunties anymore?" Liam asked, and I picked him up "No, but it's only a 3 minute walk to see them, look " I turned around and pointed at the compound in the distance"that's where they will be. And we will be here" I turned back around. "+ mommy and daddy still work there, and you can always come along with us, when you don't have school or after school." Liam nodded.
"Can we go look inside?" Sam asked. "Of course you can, daddy will open the door. He has the key." I said. "I have the key? I have the key! Right!" Eli tapped his pockets. "Uuhhhh key, key, key." He muttered under his breath. I held it up in front of him, a small smirk on my face. He smiled relieved, kissed the top of my head and took the key from me. I chuckled and followed the small family into our new home.
~2,5 months later~
"To Shiloh and Phineas and to little Stella." Josiah said at our dinner party. Our youngest and only daughter was brought home today, and Phineas and Shiloh had their 4 year anniversary yesterday, so the party seemed rather fitting. Stella was upstairs sleeping though. Her first day home had drained all her energy. I smiled. "To that." I raised my glass, and the rest followed. In those ten years Elijah and I had been married. Not only did Shiloh and Phineas tie the know, but also Micah and Michelle, Judah and Patience and Daniel and Rosy, a girl he saved on a mission. Josiah and Gala also finally started dating, but they don't want to marry, which is their choice. They seem very happy, so NOBODY judges. Mary and David already had their partners before I even came to the compound. And we always celebrate every anniversary with a dinner party, a day or two after the day itself.
(A/N and as you can see they lived happily ever after! That's the end of this story. Thank you all for reading this. I am currently working on another story, which is marvel, and I also have other ideas. I also might add some bonus chapters to this but I have to think about that. I love you all and for one last time
