3rd person POV

Rachel kicks and screams in as they take her husband away. Although the beatings and arguments have been awful, she still loved him. She married him for a reason. One thing Kylie never knew was unlike most abusive relationships, David had never forced her to stay with him. He always gave her the option of leaving if she wanted to but she didn't.

At the same time, Kylie is somewhere in Colorado trying to create a new life without abuse. She has met a new boy named James. James has a boring yet exotic took to him. He has brown eyes and blondish brown hair. He isn't exactly "the prettiest girl in the park". But Kylie doesn't care about that. She feels a strange attraction to him and he does as well. James has had a fairly easy life. His parents are still together, he has two little sisters and a dog, along with a nice neighborhood with happy neighbors. A practical 180 from my life. Although the same things apply to Kylie's life except for all her thugs have more of a twist.

Molly hasn't left her room unless David and Rachel are out of the house. It was as if Rachel and David had forgot they even had another daughter. I think they forgot they ever even had children. The only time David spoke of Kylie was when they had a press conference about her. Even though Molly never left her room, she still kept tabs on what everyone was doing. And she frequently visited Kylie's room. She ran her fingers over her books and went through her clothes. She longed to see her sister again outside of a picture frame.

James POV (3rd person)

He looks at Kylie and smiles just thinking about how beautiful and real she is. Her eyes shut as she lays on the couch dreaming of god knows what. But her features are stunningly attractive even in the relaxed awkward sleeping state.

Her eyes flutter open and she looks at him with confusion before she realizes who he was.

"Are you watching me sleep?" She asks him one eye half way closed and drool.

"Yeah. You're cute." He says to her with a small smile.

"Okay." She said with a rely tone in her voice.

If only he could just tell her his secret.

Kylie's POV (3rd person)

The bruises and scars have faded but the memory's still run wild.

Some nights she wakes screaming and crying. And she gets even more terrified when she sees no light peering from under the door and she thinks back to the time when David locked her in the closet as a young girl.

Other nights she wakes up refreshed and happy. You could probably use your imagination to guess which one happens more often.

She finds herself missing Molly and William. She knew what she was doing before she left. She knew what she was leaving behind before she even gathered the thought.

She cries herself to sleep at night thinking of how confused Molly was when she came back from class and noticed her missing. How confused she was when she came home on the bus and Kylie wasn't there waiting for her at the bus stop or getting an after school snack.

She doesn't know if Molly truly understands the severity of the situation. In all honesty she hopes Molly doesn't. Kylie hopes Molly just thinks she is on vacation.

But most importantly, she hopes Molly is getting the attention she deserves.

David POV (3rd person)

He couldn't stop thinking about what he had done to his family. He had battered his wife and children. He understands that doing that is not how husbands react and treat their children. He loved his family. He loved them forever and always. David honestly had no control over his actions when he drank. And nobody knows this but after he would hit one of them, he would cry for hours. He would beat, cry or drink more, and then hit again. It was a vicious cycle.

As David sat in prison, there were news reporters trying to get into the cell block D in order to get a picture of the big millionaire in jail.

By now everybody knew what j was in for in and out of prison.

Ironically, most of my fellow inmates are here on charges of murder. But when I told them what I was in for, they told me how bad of I person I was. They told me the worst thing to ever do was to hug a woman or a young girl. They almost beat me up for it. At least my inmates were somewhat honorable.

Hey guys! Sorry that this chapter had so many character changes but I tried to make it so you could get a little insight into every character. What do you think of the 3rd person? I think I begin every single sentence with "I" when I write first person.

Tell me what you think!
