The Silent Screamer

Speaking without making a sound

Can be louder than the noise

Of a thousand crying children

Or the sound of a lion's roar

Or even louder than something

As simple as laughter

At the peak of happiness

Because speaking

Without making a sound

Is even more painful

And harder to be heard.

But the flaw in that is

That the silent screamer

Is the only one who hears

What the silent scream says.

I am the screamer

Yelling with no help

Even though my words

Are as clear as day.

The sound though,

The sound is muffled

As it goes through my

Closed lips

And is bounced back into my head

Amplifying the sound

Until there's nothing

More I want than

Silence.....
