Seventeen | I've Got It

Rachel's POV

  I walked into her office the most shy I've ever been.

  "Schuester?" she looked up at me and smiled. "Please tell me this is what I think it is." she smiled. I smiled back.

"Yes, I want to rejoin the team." I smiled at Sue and she ran back to the room attached to her office. She came back with the same red box she handed me when I first tried out. It had a late note on top of the box in case I was late to class. I smiled and ran out of her office to the bathroom.

I zipped up the zipper on my uniform and quickly pinned my hair up to the pony tail. I unlocked the bathroom stahl and smiled at my reflection in the mirror. It wasn't that broken girl in the mirror anymore, it was someone who was stronger and put back together. I walked out of the bathroom because the first tardy bell rang, which meant I had two minutes to get to class. I walked slowly and got to my locker. I put in my combination and got my stuff out. The bell rang just as I shut my locker. I ran to my dads room and knocked on the door. He opened it and smiled at me. I gave him my note and ran back to my seat with Santana. She smiled and fist bumped me.

I was at my locker when someone hugged me from behind.

"Looks like someone got what she wanted." I heard Finn's raspy voice whisper in my ear.

"I've got it." I turned around him and smiled. He kissed me and I shut my locker, starting to walk off to class with Finn.
