Eighteen | Just When I Was Happy

Rachel's POV

I was doing my homework when I got a text from an unknown number.

Homework, eh? Not as fun as when I told the whole school about your little secret. I could definitely do it again. Watch your back, cupcake.

I automatically knew it was Brody, and I started coming up with things to do in my head. I grabbed my backpack, phone, and a few things I would need overnight. It was a Friday night, which meant the usual, my parents wouldn't be home until Sunday. I don't know where they go or what they do, but they go out of town every weekend. I shut my front door behind me and ran threw my yard into Finn's, where I knocked on the door. He opened it and smiled.

"Hey beautiful." he smirked and I frowned at him. "What's wrong?" I handed him my phone and he read it quickly. "Are your parents not home?" he asked when he was finished.

"Out of town, remember?" I said. He nodded and pulled me inside.

"I'm going to pack a bag to stay at your house, because if we stay here, my mom won't leave us alone." he pulled me upstairs and I watched as he packed his bag full of stuff.

"You're so cute." I smiled at him and he looked up with a confused face.

"Rach, what did I tell you about calling me cute?" he looked me in the eye.

"That I shouldn't do it." I smiled.

"Why?" he stopped packing and walked closer to me.

"You never said." I told him and he smirked.

"Because, this is what happens!" he started tickling me and I couldn't stop laughing, that was, until his mother walked in.

"Finn, what are you doing to this poor girl?" she asked laughing, due to the fact Finn had himself pinned above me on his bed.

"Tickling her!" he smiled.

"Why?" she smiled.

"Because she called me cute." he looked back down at me and I started laughing quietly.

"Are you going to introduce her?" she laughed again.

"Oh right!" Finn pulled me off the bed and brought me to his mom.

"Mom, this is my girlfriend Rachel. Rachel, this is my mom." I smiled at her and she hugged me.

Well this is awkward.
