The Changed Ones

NYCON. A convention up in New York City. Kind of like a second Comic Con, but in the East Coast. There were many people attending the convention. From television, to movies, to sports, to the Internet. In this case, a large group of YouTubers have come together to meet fans, sign autographs, take photos and just hang out together. These groups of people were Jacksepticeye (Sean), Markiplier (Mark), Pewdiepie (Felix) LordMinion777 (Wade) and Muyskerm (Bob). Along with them was Felix's girlfriend Marzia, Mark's girlfriend, Lily, and Jack's girlfriend, who was ironically named Jackie.

It was Day 2 of the convention and thousands of people were inside the buildings. Dozens, even hundreds of people were waiting anxiously to hopefully meet the famous YouTubers. Marzia, Lily and Jackie were sitting at the table behind them, amazed at the group of people who have come to see them.

"I hope everybody gets to see them!" Jackie said.
"Do you think people will ask to take pictures with us?" Lily asked.
"If they know us, probably!" Marzia said.
"Says the girlfriend of the most subscribed person on YouTube, who also happens to have thousands of subscribers!" Lily sassed. "We're just sticks in the mud compared to you!"
"I didn't mean it like that!" Marzia claimed. "I meant if people confront us and if we're all allowed to!"
"You could've been a part of this! You would've had your own station and everything!" Jackie stated.
"I know, but these kind of conventions aren't my thing!" Marzia explained. "I came here with Felix to watch him meet his fans and to tour New York with everybody!"
"I've been here many times before." Jackie explained. "I can point out every building in the Lower Manhattan area!"
"Hopefully we can give you a tour and maybe do some shopping in Times Square!" Lily said.
"I saw a huge Forever 21 store! That's like my dream place!" Marzia said.
"Then hopefully in a little bit we can take you there!" Jackie smiled.

Just then, security began letting people in to meet Felix, Mark, Jack, Bob and Wade. To no surprise, some people snuck some selfies with Marzia, Lily and Jackie and even complimented on how cute their relationships were with their boyfriends. This went on for several hours until they were given a two hour break to eat lunch and wander around a bit. Jackie, Marzia and Lily decided that it would be the perfect time to do shopping.

"Why are you guys going shopping?" Jack asked. "I thought you were going to stay here?"
"Well, we lied!" Marzia smirked. "I really want to take a tour of the city!"
"Just rub it in that you have the option of freedom and we don't!" Felix snickered.
"Hey, you were the one who wanted to do this, Felix!" Mark exclaimed.

Jackie, Lily and Marzia kissed their loved ones before heading out into Times Square. As they went out into the streets of Manhattan, Marzia's jaw dropped as she saw the screens light up and the many places she could go into.

"Just wait until you see this place at night!" Lily stated.
"I bet!" Marzia said.

The girls then went and did several hours of shopping at different stores. They spent a good hour in Forever 21 because of how big it was, they then went into the Disney Store, M&Ms factory, Hershey's Factory, and the H&M store.

As they left Planet Hollywood after getting something to eat, they looked at the time. 7:45. They needed to head back to the convention center to meet up with the guys. They quickly began making their way through Times Square, but not before stopping to look at Breaking News occurring on the screen of the GMA studio.

"We have Breaking News coming out of Newark, where a factory has exploded and has spilled hundreds of toxins into the Hudson River and into the air. Because of wind gusts, the deadly toxins are headed straight to the Lower Manhattan area. Everybody is advised to stay indoors at all times before being given the all clear. If it is necessary to be outside, citizens are advised to wear protective masks over their faces."

"We have to get inside then!" Marzia stated. Jackie and Lily agreed with them as they began heading back into the convention center, where the guys were already waiting for them.

"Hey! You've finally come back!" Wade said.
"Sorry, we kinda got carried away!" Marzia explained.
"Well if you got me something I'll accept your apology." Felix said.

Marzia immediately gave him a gigantic Hershey bar. Felix smiled and kissed her on the cheek.

"Apparently they're evacuating everybody because of some gas leak." Bob explained.
"We heard about that which is why we came indoors." Jackie said.
"They're making us leave!" Wade said.
"What?" Lily asked. "But we've been told to stay indoors! These toxins headed towards us are apparently deadly!"
"Lily, relax!" Mark whispered, calming her down. "Everything is going to be okay. They're giving us masks to make sure we don't breathe anything in."
"Okay..." Lily nodded in relief. "That's good."
"Are we just going back to the hotel?" Jackie asked.
"Yeah." Jack answered.
"We're only right around the corner from it, should we start heading there now?" Felix asked. Everybody nodded.

As soon as they were given masks, they began heading out to the hotel. Security guards were surrounding them making sure nobody got in their way. As they were looking around, they noticed people going inside and walking down the streets with their faces shielded to protect themselves from the gases. As soon as they got into the hotel, they took off their masks and security dispersed. The group then went up into their suite which was on the top floor.
