Gabriel POV

I walked shyly over to the group, they, from what I could hear, where talking about how John Watson wasn't important to the plot. Which I thought was very wrong.

Finally I get behind the group and kinda stand there until the red head looked at me, she was really cute.

"Hia!! Are you new here? My names Charlie, Charlie Bradbury." She said, practically jumping up and down.

Everyone in the group stopped talking and turned to look at who she was talking to. The kinda tall shaggy haired boy looked down at me and smiled.

"Hi, I'm Sam, this is Garth, Kevin, Meg, and you have already met Charlie, the rainbow of the group." He said pointing to each person that he called out. I smiled, chuckling at Sam's joke about Charlie.

"Your gay?" I ask kindly.

"Yep, gayer than a unicorn riding a rainbow." She smiled widely.

"Cool, me too." I gladly said. I was openly gay for about a year now. We had to move because of it. But I felt oddly content around them.

"Oh really? You don't look the part." Meg jested.

"Meg you don't say that!" Sam snapped.

"What its true, he doesn't look gay." She smiled. "Sam here is the smart ass of the group."

"Oh I think I can change that." I retorted with a smirk.

"Oh really? Cause I'm not gettin a smart ass, sarcastic vibe from you my man." Garth gestured to me.

"Actually, at my old school they called me the trickster. Cause I'd play a joke and never get caught." My witty remarks where dull at the moment, but they always come back. Always.

The bell rang and we all headed of to class. I had two classes with Charlie and Sam, one with Meg, and one with Garth. I could tell that this school year was going to be interesting.

******************

After school I walked out to mike's car, but I get stopped when Sam intersects me.

"Hey Gabe! Are you doing any after school. if your not, my brother said that we can hang after school." he smiled the whole sentence.

"I would need to ask my brother, but I'm sure that I can go." I get out my phone, texting cas.

"He said I could." I smile.

"Awesome, come on, his car is over here." he walks over to a shiny 1967 Chevy impala.

"WOW! Is this your car?!" No one really knew this, but I really liked old cars.

"Hey, you must be Gabriel." A tall boy with green eyes and freckles walked up to me with keys in hand.

"Uh, yeah, you can call me Gabe tho." I look up at the tall boy and smile.

"So am I taking you with me or what?" he said, opening the door.

"Yeah, thanks." I get in the back seat and we drive off.
