Get up!" Is all I hear before I feel myself rolling of the couch and landing on to the hard cold floor.

"What the fuck?" I exclaim turning over to see who was stupid enough push me off the couch. My eyes fall on Y/N and immediately I feel my heart start racing and I think my eyes nearly pop out of my head. She hasn't spoken to me in three months despite the numerous times I tried to contact her. The only thing she would say is "I don't need you to tell me you're in love with her, so save it." But if she would ever give me the time of day I would tell her that I actually love her and always did. "Y/N?" I question squinting my eyes.

"No, mate," they answer and I rub my eyes revealing a pissed Niall. Y/N was never here. I don't hide my disappointment as I glare silently at him. "I've tried to contact you all month! You've literally missed all rehearsals for the tour and tons of interviews. The least you could do was call, asshole." He remarks taking a seat on my sofa kicking the littered beer bottles out of his way. "Have you been living in your living room?" He inquires as his eyes slowly scan the room.

"It's none of your fucking business," I basically hiss at him because there is no way in hell I'm going to tell him I'm not emotionally stable enough to sleep in the bed me and Y/N once shared. "Oh, here's a thought," I ponder sarcastically, "don't you think I would've contacted you if I wanted to speak to you. So if you're here to try and tell me about my life there's the door."

"You can drop the asshole facade with me Liam. Did you forget that I knew you way before this? This isn't you." He tells me and break eye contact with him. I know it's true but it's easier to be an asshole than to actually face the reality that I lost the "one". I let her slip right through my fingers because I was greedy and foolish. "You're going out tonight. You got to forget Y/N."

I sigh, "But I don't want to. Even if I did, I can't." I can't help but hate myself and the choices I've made. I wouldn't be sitting here miserable holding on the memory of her smile or her goofy personality or the way her body felt next to mine.

"Liam I'm only going to tell you this because I'm your friend and I care about you." He says I try emotionally brace myself for his words, because I know exactly what he's going to say. "You fucked up, Liam. You lost her and as much as you want her back you got realize that it's over. You got to move on, and I'm not saying one night out is going to magically make it better, but it's a start." His words hit me hard I feel that constant ache in my chest magnify. He's watching me waiting on me to say something. I know he half expects me to curse him out but I surprise him when I answer "I know."

...

You can't believe you let your friend talk you into to going out tonight. You knew you had to work tomorrow, but you find yourself walking side-by-side with your friend approaching the bar. Its been a long three months but you finally felt like you were putting the pieces to the puzzle back together again.

"I don't need to get drunk." You yell to your friend over the thumping bass in the club.

"One drink won't kill you." She challenges shoving a shot in your direction. You shake your pushing it back towards her. "C'mon Y/N live a little. You've been such a stick in the mud since Liam." She says and you know she didn't intend the words the way they sound. But she's right, you are different. Before you over think you take the shot out of her hand tilting it back.

"Another please?" You smile innocently at your friend and she smiles nudging you playfully.

"Now that's the Y/N that I love."

...

You lost count of how many shots you've taken and you also lost your friend so you sit at the bar alone with your head swimming. This is the real reason why you didn't want to get drunk, because now your conscious of your feelings of Liam. When you're drunk you can't lie to yourself and pretend that you are not miserable without Liam. But unfortunately he was in love with someone else. You couldn't even bare the sight of Liam.

"Y/N?" You feel somebody tap on your shoulder. You turn to see a man that looks just like Liam but you really couldn't make out his features due to the lighting and the large amount of alcohol you've consumed. "What are you doing here? Are you here alone?" The man seemed to be genuinely concerned for you. You only giggle as he prevents you from falling off of your stool.

"You know you look just like my ex Liam. He's an ass tho. He cheated on me with his ex, I was engaged to him for a year and seven of those months he's was seeing her behind my back. But you wouldn't do that to me. Would you?" You slur slightly as you bring your hand up barely missing his face. He quickly grabs your wrist.

"You need to go home, Y/N." He says lowly pulling you stand up with him. When you trip over your feet he swiftly grabs you by your hips steadying you.

"Only if you come with me," you seductively whisper into his ear. You smile when you feel him shudder under your touch. You take the opportunity to bring your mouth to ear lobe grazing it softly with your teeth. "So, what do you say?" He doesn't answer you instead he looks at you like he's weighing out his options.

"Let's go."

...

"Ugh." You groan rubbing your head as sit up in your bed. You feel like your head could explode any second, so you force yourself to get off the bed in search of some medication. You mindlessly wonder until you hit a wall and you realize your bathroom door should be there. "What?" You mutter finally taking in your surroundings. You we're in your old house. You're confused for a moment then Liam walks into the room shirtless carry a bottle of aspirin and water.

"Here," he offers it seems he forgot you two weren't on speaking terms.

"Liam.." you say trying to compose yourself even though on the inside you were freaking out that you and Liam possibly slept together.

"Y/N we didn't sleep together. I slept on the couch. You were too drunk to even walk I had to make sure you were safe."

"Good," you sigh relieved. "Well then I should go." You move to grab your shoes but Liam grabs your arm. You snatch away as he speaks.

"Y/N I thought that maybe we could talk." He silently pleads but you shake your head you know where this will lead.

"No, Liam I don't want to hear i-," he quickly cuts you off.

"Y/N I don't love Sophia I love you. It was always you, and I will do anything to get you back in my life. Since you been gone it's been the darkest three months of my life the only that give me hope is the possibility of you coming back in my life. I left Sophia and want to make it clear that all I want is you." He rants as you feel tears rolling down your cheeks.

"Liam please don't make it harder than it has to be." You practically beg.

"Y/N I know I messed up but I'm willing to work hard everyday to prove to you that I can be loyal and appreciate you like I should have. Please?" He pleads with sorrow thick in his voice and he is now crying also.

"Its not that Liam."

"What is it then, Y/N? I'm still willing to-," now it's your turn to cut him off.

"I'm in love with Jake." You finally say.
