☑ Chapter 5: Diego

Zypher's POV

Nagising ako dahil sa ingay na nanggagaling sa shower.

"Oh, Zy, gising ka na pala. Gusto mo munang magshower?" Asked Alex who was already fixing herself in front of the mirror. Napatingin ako sa higaan ni Mia and saw that it was already empty. She must be the one in the shower.

Ibinalik ko ang tingin kay Alex and just nodded at her. She hummed in response to me while applying some lipstick. Makalipas ang ilang sandali, lumabas na si Mia sa banyo, so I immediately got up from my bed and prepared.

I glanced at the clock and it says: 6:15 AM. We still have time before breakfast. It starts at 7 AM.

I took my time to get ready hanggang sa matapos na akong magbihis sa loob.

I went out of the bathroom all dressed up with my hair still wet. Napansin ko agad ang pagtigil ni Alex sa pag-aayos sa sarili at napaharap sa akin.

"W-Woah. You kind of look different kapag nakalugay ang buhok mo at walang glasses." Namimilog ang mga matang sabi nito.

I immediately took my glasses and wore it at kinuha ang ipit sa buhok na gamit ko.

"Hmm, why don't you keep it that way? Sobrang ganda mo pag ganun, Zy. Walang halong keme." Umupo lang ako sa higaan at sinuot ang sapatos ko.

"I'm not comfortable. Tsaka hindi ako pwedeng walang glasses. I can't see." Pagrarason ko.

I already wore my contact lenses when I was inside the bathroom. I thought she wouldn't notice anything if I keep my hair down and glasses out for a while. But I probably should just complete my get up inside the bathroom next time. Needing to be more cautious to avoid conversations such as this.

Bumalik sa pag-aayos sa sarili niya si Alex habang inaayos ko nalang ang gagamitin kong backpack. I noticed then na wala na si Mia sa kwarto.

"You're looking for Mia?" Napatingin ako kay Alex at napatango. Nakita niya siguro akong patingin tingin sa kabuuan ng kwarto namin. She fixed her long black hair in front of the mirror.

"Siya na daw kukuha sa schedule natin para agad na tayong pupunta sa caf para mag breakfast." She paused for a while still looking at herself in the mirror amd smiled, satisfied at the way she looked.

"All done! Tara?" Masigla niyang gayak sa akin. Agad nalang akong tumango dahil tapos na rin naman ako sa pag-aayos ng bag ko.

"Welcome sa first day of school Zypher!" I watched her with amusement as she shouted those words when I opened the door to get out of the room. Humagik-ik siya nang makita ang reaksyon ko.

"Peace." Naka peace sign nga na sabi pa niya bago ako hatakin palabas ng kwarto namin. I just sighed and let her drag me towards where we are going.

Nang tuluyan kaming nakalabas sa dorm, nakita agad namin si Mia sa bukana ng hallway ng Main Building.

"Nandoon din si Jill! Tara! Bilis!" Masiglang sabi ng katabi ko at kinaway kawayan pa ang dalawa na nandoon nga sa tinuro niyang gawi.

"Goodmorning, Ate!" Bati sa akin ni Jill nang magkalapit kami. I just gave her a nod which made her smile grow wider.

"I already got our schedule, and guess what!" Naeexcite na sabi ni Mia. We all looked at her and waited for her to continue. Impit siyang tumili bigla.

"Classmates tayo sa halos lahat ng subjects! Yes!"

"Oh my gosh! Yes!" At nag apir silang dalawa ni Alex. Pati si Jill ay nakisali na rin dahil sa ipinapakitang enthusiasm ng dalawa. I just watched them. Kind of relieved, honestly. At least may mga kilala na ako sa mga klaseng papasukan ko. I wouldn't bother making new companions and sharing stuffs for introduction anymore. I mean, I'm just getting tired of repeating the strain of lies to keep my secret. Mas mainam na tumahimik nalang ako. Tsaka, I wouldn't really mind being a loner for quite a while, pero I guess this is really better.
