Chapter 56: Diego's Secret

Zypher's POV

"It was me. She was me...

And I was her."

That was the very first thing that came out of my mouth when I opened my eyes. They were all watching me with confused eyes. Hindi ko pa kayang ipaliwanag sa kanila ang lahat dahil kulang na kami sa oras, lalung-lalo na't paparating na sila upang makipaglaban. And I still can't explain things to them because everything is still not clear to me. I'm still trying to connect everything.

Tumayo ako sa kinahihigaan ko at nagmadaling lumabas ng kwarto. I need to see my sisters. I need to talk to them and confirm this new memory inside my head. If it really is a memory or someone was just trying to put something in my system. But that can't be, kasi walang may ability ng illusion sa mga kasama ko.

Bigla akong hinarangan ni Butler Robert, kaya napahinto ako. "Miss, you're still not well."

"No, I'm fine." Sagot ko sa kaniya at nagmadaling pumaibaba sa hagdanan. Kailangan kong magmadali. Kasi alam kong kahit anong oras ay susugod na sila sa campus. At kailangan ko na din malaman ang lahat. Kung tama ba ang hinala ko kung sino ang totoong descendant ni Arabella na may hawak ng bato. Kung tama ba ang hinala ko mula sa nabasa kong papel kanina. Isang sagot nalang ang gusto kong malaman.

I ran outside and immediately went to the driver's seat and start the engine. Sumakay sa gilid ko si Zach at inayos ang seatbelt niya. Nakita ko din sa salamin na nakaupo na silang lahat sa likod kaya pinaandar ko na ang sasakyan.

I have so many confusions in my head. Why was dad's picture in that house? Why did my mom seem to know what was happening to me in that memory or illusion? And why is that woman, the Empress of the Darkholds, have the same voice with me? Is it also the reason why that traitor, the water ability user, bowed down to me and called me My Lady? Isang sagot nalang talaga ang kailangan kong malaman. Kung totoo ba ang mga nakita ko kanina.

"Zypher, what's happening? Why are we going back?"

Rinig kong tanong ni Matt sa likod ko. Mukhang hindi na niya mapigilan ang pagtatanong sa kung ano ang mga nangyayari. Napahigpit ang hawak ko sa stirring wheel at napapikit ng saglit. Sumasakit na naman ang ulo ko at bumabalik sa akin ang mga nakita ko kanina. Ang pagsaksak ko kay Ate Cassy, ang pag repel ko kay Dad at kay Mom, ang nahihintakutang mukha ni Ate Gab at ako na nakahiga sa sahig na walang malay.

"We're coming."

"They're coming." Agad kong naiusal ng marinig ko na naman ang boses niya sa ulo ko. She seems to enjoy confusing me. And she wants me to know what she is about to do. Alam kong gusto niya akong makaharap. I also want to face her.

I looked at the mirror and saw them very serious and quiet. Matt is holding the piece of paper that says about the stone that beats and I can see that he is reading and analyzing it. Ed is just seriously watching outside the window the same with Nate. Nathan is also just waching the road outside but I know he's also anticipating something. I can see how the plants grow and bloom everytime we pass by. My gaze went to Stephanie and I slowly realize something. Can it be that she also experiences the same headaches as mine whenever I come near her? Because I erased her memory? If that's the case, then I really should see my sisters and let them answer my question.

I looked at Zach and he was just as serious as them. His eyebrows are creased and I know he is still very curious about why am I acting like this, but just like them he won't ask questions not until I open up. Napunta ang tingin ko kay Ariella at nakatingin siya kay Diego na prenteng nakaupo sa gilid niya. They look like they are talking, but Diego can't talk. Napakunot ang noo ko. They seem to talk very seriously. Bigla naman akong napatitig ng maigi kay Ariella ng makita ko ang reaksyon ng mukha niya. She looks so shocked and her eyes became sad.
