Pregnancy Series #17 - Interacting With Baby.

CREDS TO NIALLS-SCOTTISH-MOFO

Ashton: "What're you doing?" he asked, quietly, coming into the room to see that you were sat on the couch with a few massage oils on the table in front of you. "I read up on ways to interact with the baby and that massaging my stomach could maybe help the baby to react to my touch." you smiled. "Can I watch?" Ashton asked again, sitting down beside you. "You can have a go." He grinned at you and you handed him a bottle of oil and he watched as he rubbed the oil into your skin, letting out a happy sigh. He smiled as you sunk down into the cushions. Your eyes shut as he pressed gently, smiling as you felt your little girl move towards where he had pressed and soon you felt a small nudge against your skin. "Holy...that is so cool! It's like she already knows so much...I can't wait until she's here."

Calum: You were sat on one of the kitchen stools when Calum came rushing in carrying some headphones and your iPod. "Can I try something?" he asked, placing the items down and taking your hands and tugging you from your stool. You let out a small groan but let him lead you through to the living room, helping you sit down on the couch before he pushed the shirt you were wearing up so your bump was exposed. "Hey guys," Calum smiled, giving your stomach a small pat, "You're gonna hear some loud music in a minute but I don't want you to panic, okay?" You smiled, watching as he plugged the headphones into the iPod before placing them on your stomach. "Babies..." he began as he scrolled through the music on your phone, "Apparently like hearing music. I thought that it would be good to try it out." You smiled, watching him bite his lip in concentration, "What're you gonna choose? No swearing!" He pursed his lips, "Really? You really think I'd do that?" You shrugged playfully and then watched as he picked a soothing song that you had. He gave your stomach another pat as he sat down beside you, "You can listen to daddy's band later on." Which caused you to shake your head and rest your head on his shoulder.

Luke: It wasn't strange for you to wake up with your shirt pushed up and Luke gently rubbing your skin but this was the first time you were awake when he began talking to your baby. You kept your eyes close, curious of what he could say to your son. Your lips quirked upwards as Luke pressed a kiss to your stomach before he began talking. "I can't believe you'e almost here buddy...it's been a long and tiring journey so far. Your mummy has done so well. Keeping you safe and healthy for seven months with a couple more to go." you felt him rest his forehead against you gently, "Just you stay in there bud and I promise that when you're born, we'll do tons of stuff together." You moved your hands up into his hair, tangling your fingers in the strands as you opened your eyes. "Morning," he mumbled, leaning up to give you a small kiss. "Hey," you said quietly, cupping his cheek, "You're gonna be such a good dad." His face flushed as he realized you had heard him, causing you to laugh, "Honestly, Luke. Hearing you talk like that...it makes me happy and I'm sure it makes your son happy too just hearing your voice." Smiling, he turned his head so he could press a kiss to the palm of your hand, "I love you. Breakfast?" Nodding, you let him take your hand and help you up, leading you downstairs to the kitchen.

Michael: "We can't wait until you're here." you said quietly, rubbing your stomach fondly as you took a seat in the big comfy armchair in the sitting room. "Your daddy's so excited. He's always talking about how much fun he's going to do with you. Despite me telling him no, I'm sure he's going to spoil his special little girl." You smiled as you felt a soft kick against your stomach, "You like the sound of that, huh?" You always tried to take some time out of your day to talk to your little girl, knowing that it was important for both you and Michael to bond with her while she was still in the womb. You heard the door shut and Michael was soon by your side, pressing a kiss to your lips, "What're you doing? Talking to her?" Nodding, you scooted over in the seat and he sat down beside you, his hand resting on your stomach, "I bet you're going to look just like your mummy. So gorgeous that I'm going to have to buy a baseball bat to make sure that no boys come near you." Giggling, you pressed a kiss to his cheek as your daughter repeatedly kicked against Michael's hand, "Already a daddy's girl."
