Pregnancy Series #11 - Shopping For Baby.
CREDS to NIALLS-SCOTTISH-MOFO
Ashton: He was in a shopping frenzy. Every pink thing or white thing he saw, he'd pick it up and fawn over it. "Everything's so small!" he gushed, picking up a little one piece suit. You nodded and watched as he placed it in the basket he was carrying. You giggled, wrapping your arm around his and tugged him towards the furniture area, "We have to get a crib." Nodding, he went ahead, leaving you to toddle along behind. "I like this one!" he exclaimed, hands exaggeratedly pointing it out to you. "I dunno," you mumbled, running your fingertips along the wood, "Don't you think it's a little big?" He shook his head quickly, handing you the basket and bent down to pick up one of the boxes, "We need our little girl to be comfortable." Before you could protest, he was halfway down the shop heading towards the checkouts, causing you to let out a small groan before hurrying to catch up with him.
Calum: "It's so soft," you whispered, rubbing your fingers against a blue fuzzy blanket. He nodded along with you, taking it and placing it into the basket he was carrying next to the pairs of newborn socks. "We should probably write a list." he mumbled, walking a few feet away before noticing that you weren't beside him anymore. Spinning around, he saw you standing by the strollers, admiring one of the navy ones. "They're really gonna be that small?" he asked, coming up behind you and resting his hands on your hips. You nodded, "What one do you like?" Shrugging, he moved along a bit, looking at them all until he stopped, a small smirk coming across his face. "How about this one?" he asked, gesturing to a bright yellow one. Giggling, you shook your head, "No. Besides, that one's not for twins." He shrugged again, "Well? They can be nice and cozy in one and people will be able to see us coming from miles away. Tight and bright?" Rolling your eyes, you grabbed his hand and tugged him back towards the navy one, "This one? It's nice." Knowing that he wasn't going to get his way any time soon, he sighed, "Fine. I'll go get someone to get us one from the back." Squealing happily, you pressed a few kisses to his cheek in thanks.
Luke: "We have to get this!" Luke exclaimed from somewhere else in the shop. You were looking at a few outfits, trying to decide which one you wanted to bring your son home from the hospital, looking up when you heard your husbands voice from somewhere else in the building. "Luke?" you called, "Where are you?" You finally found him, knelt down on the ground next to a soft play mat which had roads and buildings on it. "Imagine it (Y/N)!" he exclaimed, "Imagine our son rolling about on this playing with little toy cars! And when I come home from work, I can play with him! Oh my God. We need it." You smiled at the sight of him and how excited he was and stepped to his side as he stood up straight, "I love it, Luke but he isn't going to be able to play on it until he's a little older." He frowned, "But..." He squeezed your hands gently, "Please...we can keep it somewhere until he's old enough for it but I want him to have it." Looking into his pleading eyes, you finally gave in, "Fine. We can get it." The happiness in his eyes made you smile too and he happily picked up one of the boxes, leaning down to press his lips against your forehead.
Michael: "Mikey, come look at this," you grinned, scanning the computer screen and smiling at the little Sex Pistols onesie. He came through from the kitchen, eating some grapes and sat down beside you, "What is it?" You passed him the laptop, taking the fruit from him in return and popped one in your mouth. "Oh that's cute!" he exclaimed, "What other ones are there?" The two of you began looking through the website that specialized in baby clothes that had different bands on them and Michael was in his element. "There," you mumbled, pointing at one with Greenday on it. "Can we get a few of these?" he asked, looking at you, "She can be the cutest little rocker the world's ever saw." Giggling, you rolled your eyes but nodded, "I guess we can get a few." He pressed a kiss to your cheek before lifting the laptop from the coffee table onto his lap and began adding things to the basket, "You will not regret this, Baby. People will be stopping us in the street just to point out how cute our little girl is."
