Chapter 15

"W-what?"

We both to the door to see Elizabeth standing there with tears in her big green eyes.

"Elizabeth." Ciel says softly.

I can't say a word.

"C-Ciel. I thought you loved me." she says.

The room is silent and she runs away. I hear the front door slam closed and Ciel sighs.

"I'm sorry." he says.

He looks at me and I break eye contact.

"E-excuse me. I have to go."

I leave and walk to Madison's room.

"My Lady, we have to get back to the manor." I say, bowing my head.

"Awe. Okay. Oh but we have to thank Lord Phantomhive for letting us stay."

I nod my head.

I don't want to go back in there but I follow her back to the office.

She knocks and opens the door.

"Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home, but we need to leave now." We both now our heads.

"Of course. Travel safely."

Madison leaves and I look up and make eye contact with him. He looks so sad.

I turn and walk through the door.

As I open the front door, I'm pulled into a tight hug.

I gasp for air and open my eyes to see Alois.

"Y/N! You took so long to come back!" he says.

"I-I'm sorry."

He releases me and I breathe in deeply.

"Y/N who's this?" he asks.

"This is my mistress, Lady Atow."

"Nice to meet you Earl Trancy." she says, bowing.

"Oh you're her. I've heard a lot about you. Why don't you join us for dinner?"

"I'm s-"

"We'd love to!" she says, her eyes sparkling.

"Great! Come." He grabs our hands and pulls us into the carriage.

I didn't even realize Claude was here until he sits across from me.

I smile softly at him and he nods his head.

~TIME SKIP (because I'm lazy)~

"That was delicious." Madison says, dabbing her mouth with a napkin.

I bite my lip.

"Well, we should get going." I say, standing from my seat.

"Oh you can't go anywhere now! It's far too late at night. Stay the night!" Alois claps his hands together.

"That's okay."

"No, it's okay, Y/N." Madison looks at me and smiles.

"Lovely! Claude show them to their rooms."

We get up and follow Claude until Alois grabs my hand, pulling me back into his arms.

"Why are you avoiding me?" he asks.

"I-I'm not."

"First you don't want to have dinner here, and then you don't want to stay. Why are you trying to leave me?"

I bite my lip and turn, hugging him.

"I'm sorry. Things have been confusing lately." I say softly, listening to his heartbeat.

He tilts my head up and looks me in the eye before he leans down and kisses me.

My eyes widen until he pulls away.

He looks down at me and smiles.

"We should be off to bed then." he says, releasing me.

"R-right. Good night." I turn and walk down the hallway that I saw Claude and Madison disappear down and run right into a tall figure.

I look up to see Claude staring down at me emotionlessly.

"S-sorry." I bow my head.

"It's quite alright. Come. Your room awaits."

He leads me down the hall to a room at the end and opens the door. It's the same room that I stayed in the last time I was here.

"Thank you Claude." I say.

He takes my hand and kisses it.

"Anything for you, my Lady."

I blush and he smirks.

"Y/N, you know about me, don't you." It's not a question.

I blink and nod my head slowly.

"Do you fear me now?"

"No." I try to sound brave. I cannot show fear or weakness. They feed off of that.

"You're lying." He cups my face and leans closer.

"You're quivering on the inside. I can tell."

I bite my lip and shut my eyes.

Do not show fear.

I feel something cool on my lips and open my eyes to see him kissing me!

He moves away and smirks down at me.

"Sleep well, Y/N." And he leaves.

I shut the door and feel my knees shaking.

I slowly make my way to the bed and lay down.

I've never been so confused before.

I let out a sigh and look at the ceiling.

I squint in the darkness and see a large spider in the corner.

I grimace and turn on my side. They have a serious spider problem here.

Guys I'm gonna be honest. I'm not too proud of this chapter, but you guys really wanted me to update. Sorry it sucked more than the other chapters.
