I woke up the next morning to a smiling Tucker hovering over me. As soon as I saw his obnoxiously goofy smile, I knew he was trying to get me to wake up. I rolled onto my side and pulled the covers over my face. "Noooo." I groaned at Tucker. "Come on laddie, let me sleep."
"No no, we have a big day today." Tucker said, sounding to happy. Probably because I was being nice to him for a change.
"What are we doing?" I asked, pulling the covers off my face.
"Tomorrow you are going to meet Jordan. And we need to go shopping to get you ready." Tucker said WAY too happily for my liking. I paused when I heard him say that. "What? You don't like shopping. Do you even like people?"
"People are poison." I said as I pulled the covers back over my face, so I was now completely hidden by the blanket.
"Lighten up, champ. You and Jordan are a lot a like. Champ? Kyle??" Tucker pulled the cover aside, but I wasn't there.
"BOO!!" I screamed at Tucker. I had snuck up behind him and grabbed his shoulders as I screamed.
"AHHH!!!" Tucker screamed back. In an instant, a shirtless Tom, with just his boxers on, was now in the room, with red smoke clearing around him. Abby was still asleep though at the over side of the room. I was now laughing hysterically at Tucker's girly scream, and Tom's hairless chest and South Park boxers. I walked to the other side of the room (still laughing) where Tom was, and high-fived him because now he couldn't stop laughing.
"Thats my little demon!" Tom said as we high-fived. "Wait. How in the hell, is Abby still sleeping?"
"I have no idea, lad. She was always a REALLY heavy sleeper." I said back to Tom while my laughs were dying down.
"You guys fucking suck." Tucker said, now laughing himself.
"Ok ok." I started to say. "Get out before I throw you out the window." Tom disappeared in a cloud of red smoke, and Tucker vanished in a bright white light. I got dressed into my clothes for today. I was wearing a simple red dress, with a turtle neck, and no sleeves. The dress had a layer of black lace on the whole thing, and the sleeves were just black lace. I put my hair up into an elegant bun, making sure my red streaks wrapped around my jet black hair perfectly. So, I was basically wearing the exact same thing Abby was on day 1, but the dress and my streaks were red. Once I was dressed, I disappeared in my usual cloud of black smoke, and went to eat breakfast. When I got down stairs, Tom, Tucker, Sonja, and Abby were all sitting neatly a the table. There was an empty seat in front of them, for me. I sat down with a confused look on my face, and waited for them to say something. "Hello? Anybody there?" I asked. "Say something lads, before I make you say something."
"Kyle." Tucker began to say. "There is something you should know about Jordan. You and him, are, related." I stopped moving. I stood up from my seat and anger grew inside me.
"You mean I am related to some goody-2-shoes who did a dumbass ceremony just so he could be with his girlfriend that was power crazy enough already and probably didn't want to fuck Jordan because he wasn't good enough for her probably hates mine, Tom and Abby guts and hates her mother and grandfather because of there work!!" I exploded at them, with darkness growing in my voice, then it suddenly faded because of a thought I had. "Wait. How the fuck am I related to him? Is he my uncle, brother, cousin... father? What?"
"Umm..." Tucker was holding back. I disappeared from my spot in a cloud of black smoke, and grabbed Tucker by his throat and stared into his fully white eyes. "Your just like him." Tucker managed to say between gasping for air.
"Tell me or I will RIP your throat out, and fed it to your dog Griswold." I now had a fully demonic voice (even darker than before) that made everybody in the room shiver.
"Let me go and I will tell you." Tucker managed to say. I let go of his throat , and sat back down inn my seat, and gestured for him to speak. "13 years ago, before Jordan met Ianite, he went out to a bar with some friends. Jordan had been feeling depressed lately and needed a good time. He met a girl at the bar, Mari. Jordan and Mari went back to his place for the night, and she left in the morning. They didn't use protection, so 9 months later she had a kid. It was a girl, Kyle." I stopped moving, and stared at Tucker. I couldn't speak. Tucker just went on with the story after I didn't say anything. "the girls mother named her Kyle, because that's what Jordan had said his name was, not wanting things to get serious. She had to give up the girl, and a family adopted her. This family were the Peters. Kyle Peters lived with that family for the first 13 years of her life, until she was kicked out by the horrible family, and traveled to Manchester to be with her girlfriend, and find a mystery man who could hopefully help her. Soon after the man let her in, Kyle learned she was a demon, same with the man and her girlfriend. She is now sitting here, listening to her TRUE past." I still couldn't speak.
"What happened to the girl's mother?" I asked Tucker.
"I don't know, champ." Tucker said using his nickname he gave to me. I didn't mind the nickname, but only Tucker could call me it.
"I am, uh, I'm just gonna chill in my room, lads. Um, thanks for the story Tuck. Bye." And with that I disappeared in my usual cloud of black smoke. I sat on my bed, looking through pictures of Abby and me. Man, I love her. I probably would be a slave down in hell if it weren't for her, convincing me not to kill myself because of my family. She knew I had a greater destiny than living with my asshole family until I was 18, then struggle to find a house and end up having to move back in with them and be miserable for the rest of my life.
I sat on my bed, completing the world, until I heard a knock on the door. It was Tom. Tom simply sat down beside me and hugged me whilst he cried. I sat there in his arms, and began to cry as well. I was sad because I had been living a lie my whole childhood. I love Tom. Not romantically, but as a friend. He is my best friend and I love him. Nobody could have a better lad that's there for them, but me. Tom cried for me, and wouldn't stop. We cried, and cried, until I fell asleep in his arms. He flicked his wrist, and I was now in my sweat pants and baggy shirt. He tucked me into my bed, and kissed me on the head. He then laid down on the floor next to my bed, and fell asleep.
