A Terrifying Adventure

Marian followed her friends cautiously, for she knew that if they saw her, they would just send her back to the castle because of her "safety". She stuck her tounge out in disgust at this thought, she hated not being able to join the action because she was a "princess". In her handbag, which was in the shape of an owl, she had packed some food and water, a tightly folded blanket (incase she got cold) and, of course, her magic wand and spellbook incase of an emergency.

Time passed, the sun was setting and Marian began to feel tired. Luckily, from the looks of it, her friends were tired too. They sat down around a tree and were intended to sleep there for the night.

Marian found a clear where there was soft mossy grass not too close but not too far either from her friends. She knew, that from her position, she would be able to hear her friends if they were in any danger and could go and get help. Sadly, it was not her friends that were in danger. For she did not realise that behind her was an eerie cave with something growling on the inside.
