Chapter 4
"So what do you do while you're sitting here by yourself?" Dean asked.
"I usually avoid being home until sometime before sunset. If I end up confined to my house for one reason or another, I just marathon movies."
Dean sat down next to Ria on the sofa. He wrapped his arm around her without a word they cuddled.
"You have strange methods for bonding with people."
"Who said I was normal?" He asked.

Realizing it was getting late, Ria wiggled out of Dean's arms and told him she was going to bed now.
"Don't miss me too much," he gave her a hug, his egotistical ways made her laugh.
"I'll try not to, oh by the way I don't have to remember to call you tomorrow. So your teasing before, was completely pointless."
"That's just one minor thing, just wait I'll find something else."
Please don't pick my weight...
She thought to herself while walking to her room.
Ria made herself breakfast that morning, completely forgetting Dean was still there. She was wearing sweatpants over the boy shorts she normally wears to bed. The sound of the guest bedroom opening startled her then reminded her that she told Dean he could stay the night.
Crap! I'm hardly wearing clothes!
She hardly had time to consider running back to her room, he already entered the living room which gives a clear view into the kitchen.
I guess Dean thought I'd still be asleep. He walked into the room without a shirt on.
They stared at each other for a moment, Ria began to blush, and Dean smiled until they both burst out laughing.
"Good morning," Dean hugged her and Ria felt comfortable again.
"Good morning," Ria hugged him back.
"Why did you blush before?"
"Because I forgot you were here, I felt stupid for forgetting."
"Nah, that's nothing to blush about."
I blushed because I was embarrassed you had to see me falling out of my clothes like this...
She thought to herself but quickly thought about random things to make the negative thoughts go away.
"Can I just say you look really cute right now?"
Ria laughed out loud then covered her mouth with her hand, "I didn't mean to laugh."
"You disagree with me."
"I'll tell you why after breakfast."
"Hey," he caressed her face, "whatever people have said, forget it, they're wrong."
"Stop, you're just saying it out of sympathy!"
"No Ria, I'm not saying it out of sympathy. I'm telling you that you're beautiful because you're beautiful."
The kiss this time was not playful but romantic.
He engulfed her in a hug, she felt as if her body disappeared in his arms.
I don't think I've ever felt this appreciated in my entire life.
