Maya's POV

I woke up with a cold fresh breeze blowing on my heated skin, I shiver before snapping my eyes opened and found myself laying on Lucas bed, my eyes shifted to the window, where he stood with his head out the open window.

I snuggle deeply into the blanket with my face buried into the wram and cozy pillows.

"what's wrong?", I ask with my face still into the pillows.

"Shit", I heard him muttered which caused me to lift my head up, our eyes lock.

"you should at least give a guy a sign, you scared the shit out of me", he said breathless.

I chuckled facing him fully, wiggling my finger back and forth signaling him to come over.

He smirk stupidly but came over sitting in between my open legs with his head leaning against my chest, with that I took the opportunity to run my fingers through his soft messy hair.

I lean towards his ear letting my lips touch it feeling him shiver underneath me, "what's bothering you?".

"Nothing", he answered way too quickly.

'Why is he lying to me?, he made this rule of not keeping secrets, yet, he's keeping secrets from me'.

"Tell me Lucas", I demanded.

"I said it's nothing, drop it".

i move backwards, moving my legs from around him and stood up, he watched me not saying anything.

'He seriously wasn't going to tell me?'.

I roll my eyes scoffing and making my way out the door but my wrist was grabbed tightly.

" where are you going?", I heard him ask from behind me.

Without thinking twice, I yak my wrist away, walking out without saying a word.

'If he was going to act like a dick after yesterday, then I'm not even going to bother with him'.

I skip down the stairs, and made my way to the kitchen where all the guys were seated eating honey nut cheerios, riley eyes met mine when I sat down next to Bradley who was drinking down orange juice.

"Oh-oh", riley said without her eyes leaving mine, "something's wrong, what happened in there?".

All eyes were now on me, I shurg grabbing an apple from the wide bowl on the table.

"She's mad at me", Lucas said entering the kitchen.

'It's like he doesn't even notice his decision is bugging me'.

"What did you do this time, dickhead?", Peyton ask with a scoff.

"Honestly", he pause before speaking again, "I don't even know".
