Matthew's POV
I watch my beautiful mate sleep on the hospital bed. She's been in a comma for three weeks already and I've been with her every second of it. I know all of the doctors who come in and out of her room since I've been here so long.
The nurse was currently flirting with me but I didn't give her any attention.
The nurse wasn't having any of that. She removed my hand from Makayla's and sat on my lap. I tried to push her off but she just grabbed my neck and kissed me on the lips. Which earned a growl from Makayla. Wait Makayla? I pushed the nurse. The nurse jumped off of me and ran out of the room.
I looked at my mate who was extremely mad. I took her hand and laced it with mine. She started to calm down then she got off of the bed and started kissing me.
I stopped the kiss and picked her up and put her on the hospital bed. She pouted and I pecked her lips and then she smiled. And for once everything seemed perfect and happy.
