I got to keep it cool, he's an adult for crying out loud... a very good looking one. CHILL LESLEY.

"How can I help you, Mr. Kelly?" I asked.

"Well Ms. Auborn, I-" I cut him off.

"Call me Lesley, Les, or L, I'd prefer one of those than Ms. Auborn." I said pulling a stool up to his desk, while he sat on his.

"Okay Lesley. I was disappointed in what you said to Amber, although you ended it in a good note. It wasn't very nice the way you spoke about her figure." he said.

"Mr. Kelly I completely understand. I'm better than that-"

"Yes you are, I learned that about you today." he interrupted.

"Did you now? Tell me what you learned Mr. Kelly." I said smirking like a naughty girl.

God what has gotten into me.

"Well" he chuckled. "I learned your a very mature, classy, seventeen year old girl, who struggles in chemistry, but has a very intelligent mind." he said "that's my opinion as your teacher." he finished off, I guess he realized he was talking to a student.

"Well, you learned quite a lot. Maybe I'll learn a bit more about you. what your name, Mr. Kelly?" I asked.

"Well, your not supposed to know. don't you have a class to get to?" He asked.

"Actually no. I have lunch and three free periods, but tell me I mean I'm bound to find out anyway."

"Three free periods, whoa your smarter than I thought young lady." he said.

"Yeah it would have been four, but as you now know chemistry and me don't really get along." I said hopping off the stool and pulling it back to where it belongs. "I have a feeling that's going to change now" I said walking towards the door. I'm guessing this is his planning period since no students have come in

"Oh really? You have a feeling!" He said as I reached the door.

"Yes I do, Mr... Matthew Kelly." I smiled and left the room leaving him in confusion to how I knew his name.. I saw it on his computer as I was getting up. He was logged into the schools website, it read 'Kelly, Matthew' on the top, thank you 20/20 vision.

"How-" was all I heard him say as I started walking down the hall towards the lunch room. Jesus was with his little brother.. that's new they usually don't talk to each other in school, that's new.

"Hey guys sorry, I was held after class." I said.

"So I heard." Jesus laughed. "you shut that little girl up, Jacob said."

"She did." Jacob said.

"Well, she was rude first. I don't take that shit from no one, not even my dad sometimes." I said.

They ate while I sat there and talked, I don't eat school lunches. Nope I don't like it at all. it's only every once in a while that I eat some chips or a soda, or a chocolate bar from the machines, but other than that I don't like school foods.

"Have fun Ms. three free periods" Jesus said kissing my cheek and walking off.

I went to daddys' office, he was having his lunch.. yes I stole half of it.

"You need to start bringing food." he said. "can't have my little girl starving."

"Would you mind if I go out for lunch then come back, I have three free periods after lunch." I said.
