"DAD!" He said to the man in the distance.

We just drove 35 minutes to the next town over. When he told me he had moved here after his mothers death. I didn't think he moved from so close.

"you actually came this time" he said a little shocked

he did say something about his dad never wanting to visit her grave.

"well, I'm here right!" his dad said "and whose this lovely young lady?" he asked

"this is Lesley.. My girlfriend" Matthew said throwing and arm around my waist.

GIRLFRIEND! I don't know I'm so surprised. I mean we've been sort of together for almost two months, but i guess just hearing him say it makes it official. I feel butterflies in my tummy.

"Nice to meet you Lesley, I'm Rickson. You can call me Rick." Rick said extending his hand for me to shake it.

"pleasure to meet you sir" i said shaking his hand

we walked to to her grave. It was right in the center of the graveyard, there were beautiful flowers around her tomb.  He name was Marisol Smith-Kelly Sept. 1, 1970-Nov. 11, 2013. We left her some flowers and Matthew said a beautiful prayer. Rick said a few sweet words and I did as well.

"Mrs. Kelly... i wish i could've had the pleasure to meet you, I've heard you were quite an amazing women, I bet you still are... I wanted to thank you for bringing such an incredible man to this earth. He is truly  beautiful person, you and your husband did well with him. Some time in the future god will give me the pleasure of meeting you" i said

"just not anytime soon mom" Matthew smiled

"may you rest in paradise Mrs. Kelly" I said laying a beautiful red rose on her tomb.

Matthew pulled me into a tight hug and kissed my forehead. "that was beautiful and perfect. just like her.. just like you" he said tapping a sweet kiss on my lips.

we walked to our cars. Matthew opened the door for. "it was nice to meet you Mr. Kelly.... I mean Rick." i smiled

"as well you sweet heart.' he said with a smile.

I got into the car and Matthew closed the door. He was walking around to the driver side when his dad stopped him. They spoke for quit some time and it seemed pretty intense. I began to feel nervous. Matthew looked mad, I opened the door and stepped outside. "Is everything okay?" i asked

"Yeah, babe. I'm done here anyway?" Matthew said, walking to the diver side.

"I just hope your sure about this and that you know what your doing Matt?" Rick said.

"oh I'm sure dad and I know what I'm doing" Matthew said

"Okay," Rick said and he turned to his car.

With that little bit of their conversation that i heard, I knew exactly what they spoke bout.

we got in our car and off we were. "what was that about? I asked just to see what he would say.

"That was most defiantly not important and most defiantly not his business" he said holding my hand.

We went to some restaurant his mom liked to go to. The food was delicious. It was 12:40pm when we got to my house. Times like this I'm glad we live in an isolated block. There were only 6 houses on my block.
