-Rio's P.O.V-
As I lazily walked into my room, I caught a glimpse of a picture of Shark and I as kids 'that was a long time ago...' I sighed as I got dressed into my pajamas, pulled the covers of my bed down and hopped in, feeling the warmth of my bed. I snuggled into my bed as I hugged a shark plushie that shark got for me on my 10th birthday. Feeling a sudden tiredness, I closed my eyes and soon fell into a deep sleep.
-Kite's P.O.V-
As I returned to the Heartland tower, I took the elevator up to Harts room, walking over to his lying form, I struggled to hold back tears as I saw the poor boys face almost completely lifeless. I kneeled beside him and took his hand in my own, head looking down. "My my, look at you, dont worry Kite, Hart will get better... all you have to do is collect all the numbers" Hearing this voice, I shoot up to a standing position and glare at the shadow that was standing at the doorway "Who are you?!" I whisper shouted, careful not to wake up Hart, soon enough I see the shadow emerge from the darkness, only to be greeted by the face of Mr Heartland. "Now now Kite, no need to get feisty" He said. I sighed and rolled my eyes "What do you want Heartland?" My voice filled with hatred and distain "Oh nothing, but just a reminder, if you ever want Hart to be the bubbly little boy that he used to be, I would hurry before HIS plans start to unfold..." before I had my chance to say anything, Heartland dissappeared. With this, I stormed out of Harts room and into my own 'who is HE?! What does he want with Hart?! Why does everyone want his powers?! He is just a little boy... why dont they understand that?...' Soon, I collapse onto my knees as I start sobbing, not caring who hears. After a while, darkness consumes me as I fall into a deep sleep on the cold ground.
(TIMESKIP)
Groaning, I wake up, rubbing my aching head "what's the time?" I mumbled as I lazily pushed myself off the ground and checked the clock '7:30 am I think I shoud go for a jog to clear my mind from last night...' I thought before making my way to the shower.
-Rio's P.O.V-
Waking up, I yawned scratching the back of my head. 'I wonder if Reginald is awake yet' Pulling the blankets off me, I slowly walked to Sharks room. I stopped at the door and knocked "Reginald? Are you awake?" I called. From the other side of the door I heard Shark mumbling and I giggled, opening the door and seeing my brother with the blankets pulled over his head. Walking over to him, I shook him "wake up big brother!" The only response I got was a grunt "fine, ill make breakfast but by the time im done, I expect you to be bright eyed and bushy tailed!" With that, I skipped out the door and down the stairs, into the kitchen. Looking in the fridge, I swear I could see cobwebs... I sighed "guess im gonna have to go to the supermarket to get some groceries..." I quickly had a shower and got dressed "gotta go to the shops to get some things!" I yelled out to Shark as I locked the door behind me and started my walk to the supermarket, I checked my watch '8:00, no wonder Shark didn't get up' putting my earphones in my ears I started listening to music. As I passed the park, I saw a familiar teal and blonde haired teen sitting at the park bench "Kite" I mumbled and jogged over to him. I tapped him on the shoulder and smiled as he turned his head around "oh, hey Rio" he smiled slightly "hey Kite" I replied, smiling brightly.
