-Rio's P.O.V-
I looked at the teen in front of me, my smile soon turning into a frown as I took in his appearance. Messy hair, Bags under his eyes and looking really pale like a ghost that just saw a ghost!
"Hey Rio? Whats with that face?" Kite said as he snapped me out of my daze. "Um.. its nothing.." my sentence trailing off as I tried to avoid eye contact with the male infront of me by looking in any other direction. "I dont believe you" he said in a monotone voice. "I-its nothing Ki-" before I could finish my sentence, Kite grabbed my chin and forced me to look him dead in the eye, our faces were so close my heart started going a faster rate and I swear my cheeks were red. Seeing this, Kite smirked "Plus, its not polite to look away from someone when you are talking to them". Becoming flustered, I pushed his hand away from my chin and took a step backwards.
"Fine... its just that, over these past few days you havent been looking your best... I know something is wrong..." I looked down at my feet like they were the most interesting thing in the world before I was startled by a certain someone starting to talking.
"Hart" he said, looking away 'such a hypocrite...' "Hart? What about him?" I asked, placing a comforting hand on Kite's shoulder "Hart is getting worse by the day and I have barely collected any number cards... im sorry Hart" He mumbled the last part while shrugging my hand off his shoulder.
Instantly, I threw my arms around the male and hugged him while whispering words of comfort to him. He slowly but surely wrapped his arms around my waist and pulled me closer to him. "Thank you" was all I heard from him before he nuzzled his head into the crook of my neck. I giggled at him and pulled away, looking at him, he was pouting in an adorable mannor.
"Well, I was just on my way to go to the supermarket, do you want to come with me?" The blonde simply nodded and smiled at me.
I started walking with Kite by my side but realised that he was slowly getting further behind me. I stopped and turned around to see he was texting on his phone until he looked up at me "why did you stop?" He askes while looking back at his phone "because SOMEONE wont walk with me because he is too slow!" I dramatically said while grabbing his hand and making him walk beside me.
"Jeez, didnt realise you wanted my company this much" He said while his grip on my hand tightened and he smirked at me. I instantly felt blood rush to my cheeks as I looked away from him "I d-do not!" I yelled getting multiple weird stares from people around us.
(TIMESKIP)
As I payed for my groceries, I left the store with a proud looking male beside me who was carrying all the shopping bags back to my house. "Kite, you dont have to carry those" I said for about the 50th time in half an hour "I dont care, I want to" he said, beaming with pride.
(ANOTHER TIMESKIP)
As we arrived at my doorstep, I noticed that Sharks motorbike was gone 'must be out' I thought before turning my head to see Kite placing the bags of food near the door and dusting himself off.
"Thanks Kite" I smiled brightly at him and as he neared me and hugged me, mumbling into my hair "no, thank you" I didn't have time to reply before he pulled away and kissed me on the forehead. I blushed like mad and watched him turn and leave before looking back to me "see you around" he winked and walked off, leaving me a blushing mess. 'jeez, why do you make me feel this way Kite?' I thought while bringing my groceries into the kitchen and set up everything I needed.
"Alrighty! Time to make dinner" I said aloud and started preparing dinner.
