One Last Secret

"Miss Chenier?" The man says. "John.." She says. I freeze. This can't be happening. Not right now. Everyone looks from her, to Emily to him and back to me. She bows her head and looks at the team.

"Do you have room for one more secret.." Everyone nods. "Okay let's go to the round table and close an lock the door. John, this better be good." He nods and follows us. She hasn't been in the field yet and they found something... I'm scared for her. She will kill herself before her son is hurt. I don't want to lose her right after we finally tell the teams what's going on. She's holding my hand so tightly that I lose feeling but I don't let go.

"Sit down." She tells the team they all sit. Even Hotch. I've only seen this side of her once and it was when she told me her secret. I stand with her hand in hand. The team looks at me, even Rossi confused. She takes a deep breath, "Before I say anything. I want to say I love you guys like family. And I'm sorry you got dragged into this." Everyone looks at her Hotch finally speaks "Lily... Whatever is going on. We are a family. We would come to your rescue. Right Emily?" Emily hasn't said anything... I finally take a good look at her. She does the same to me. We both stare at each other. She gets up and grabs my face "Li-Anne? Wait... Oh My God." I tear up finally realizing why he was so familiar and pull her into a hug "Lauren." Everyone gasp. John then looks at Emily, "Nice to see you again." Emily glares at him "Why is she here?!" I look at Emily "I'll explain sit." She nods and sits.

"My name is Li-Anne Chenier. I used to work for the CIA. I was sent here for protection. They put me undercover has a detective. I was finishing University when the father of my child attacked my son and my parents at home..." I start to choke up, Emily doesn't know any of this, I feel Reid squeeze my hand. "My brother... Lost his life defending them. Alex the father of my child... Killed my brother. After that happened they hid my son and parents and transferred me to the states hoping he would follow me." I take a deep breath "And he has. A lot of your cases lately involve young women that look like me but with brown hair. I dye mine." I pull a picture of myself with brown hair and the team stares. I look at John and he takes over.

"He want back to Canada..." I feel her freeze she turns to John "What happened." John takes a deep breath and shows me a picture of someone I can tell once love. She lets  of my hand and throw up in the garbage bin. I rush after her. She finishes throwing up and stand up, she look at John. I see him shivers. I see the team stare at her stare at him, she giving him the death glare . I looks at them "She's like Hotch when she's mad." Hotch lifts a brow. She didn't even know I spoke. She's lost in her mind right now has Li-Anne. She poke John "How long ago?" He doesn't answer her. She ask again with authority "HOW LONG AGO JONATHAN!"

"A week." She closes her fist and punches a wall. "WHY DID YOU COME NOW. SHE WAS MY BEST FRIEND! MICKEY WAS MY BEST FRIEND AND YOU KNOW THAT." He looks shocked and scared "Li-Anne." She gives him the death glare again "What are you not telling me?" At this point the rest of the team in in shock even I am. I've seen her angry but not like this. Even Emily is in shock. She might of known Li-Anne but not like this. He takes a deep breath "Mats gone missing." I see her tense. Then tears quickly filled her eyes and for the first time ever she swore "WHAT THE HELL! YOU SHOULD OF HAD HIM UNDER PROTECTION." I rush to her and grab her from behind she looks likes she gonna tear this guy's head off. An she wanted too I struggle and Morgan gets up to help me. "LET ME AT HIM!" She yells. "Lily. Lily hey come back to me darling." She calms down, John looks like he's about to have a heart attack. Then it happens she turns an looks at the team but directly to Hotch "Aaron." She looks at Hotch pleading to take this case. Without a second though he stand up "Everyone on the Jet. This is personal." With that everyone leave. Lily finally collapse on me and starts to cry. She's shaking. I feel Emily come behind me.

"Go on the jet Reid." I'm hesitant but know Emily knows this version of her better then me. I pull her away an look at be "I love you. Li-Anne or Lily. I love you." I kiss her and she kisses me back "I love you too. Now go." I leave her and then hear Emily say

"Get rid of the anger." I turn and within seconds. The girl I love changes into Li-Anne and swings at Emily. I yell for the team and Hotch comes back and stares in shock has the two female member of his team are fighting at the round table. He was going to interrupt when John say "Let Lily get it out." I watch has Lily gets weaker and eventually collapses onto Emily crying. "We will get Alex. And I promise he won't make it out alive." She looks up at us and we know she means every word. No matter what happens that men was a dead men. Lily get up finally and hugs her. Then she turns to me looking for reinsurance, within seconds I walk up to her and kiss her. "I love you." I push a strand of hair out of the way. She smiles and hugs me "I love you too."

With that settled we all look at each other and make our way to the jet.
