            John looked up at Tyler. “What are you doing here little brother?” He asked with a smirk. I looked at Tyler. “He’s your brother?!” I yelled he flinched. “Y-yeah… he uh left home though.” Tyler said looking down. “Leave me ALONE!” I screamed in John’s face. “leave US alone.” I finished off and grabbed Tyler’s hand walking away from his brother and all his groupies. No time for that.

            “Whoa Naomi, slow down you’re hurting my arm!” He exclaimed. “Oh… well I’m sorry… I was almost raped.” I scolded narrowing my eyes at him. He scoffed. “Like I would LET them do that to you... please… why would I let him?” He asked raising an eyebrow.

            “what ever, I have to go…” “But you just got off of work…” I rolled my eyes “So. I just need some alone time. Go make friends with Callie… or something. She’s pretty and she’ll do what any guy wants… me I won’t… and I have stuff to do anyway…” Tyler sighed. “I’m sorry… Let’s hang out some more… ok? We could hang at my place or yours or something…” He suggested. “Alright… but I have lots of work so I am not always free… I have to if I want that scholarship.” I said with a weak smile.

            He rolled his eyes. “Nerd.” “HEY!” I defended. He laughed. “Naw, you do what you need to do… Text me when you get the chance… See ya later Naomi.” He said before walking off into the crowed of people.

            “When I get the chance…” I muttered to myself walking out to my car and driving home…

            Three months passed by fast and now I was getting ready to go to work for another long day. Tyler and I have hung out a lot… not obsessively but you know enough… He’s always talking about this girl he likes and how pretty she is and all that Jazz… I wish I was her but oh well… I am trying to get him to let me meet her, he’s always saying ‘you’ll figure it out, just not yet… when I tell her I’ll tell you’ or ‘don’t worry about it…’ It gets on my nerves. I want to know to set them up.

            I got to work and suddenly Callie came up to me. “Listen I don’t know why he even talks to you but it stops here…” She said smirking. One thing I’ve learned is to not put up with crap anymore. Tyler taught it to me. I looked at her rolling my eyes. “Go away.” “I’m warning you… stay away from him.”

            “No.” I said turning around. I shouldn’t have though. I got a good deck in the face. It hurt real badly but I composed myself and stood up throwing a punch at her. “What the crap Cassie! He’s a guy… besides what if I don’t want to leave him alone?!” I yelled. She looked astonished about my random threat and punch and all that. “You will!” She screamed “HE’S NOT YOUR’S!” I screamed back. “Well he’s not yours and just because you have this ‘thing’ with him doesn’t mean anything. I am surprised he hasn’t figured out you like him yet!” She stated calmly. “Well maybe it’s not all about me… have you ever thought about that?” I asked raising an eyebrow.

            “NAOMI AND CASSIE GET IN MY OFFICE NOW!” Our manager yelled. “Great… see what you did Cassie?” I asked. She rolled her eyes. “Shut up…”
