          “HER?!” She screamed. I took an involuntary step back. Tyler stood in front of me. “Amber. Calm down.” He said authority laced in his voice. “No!” She screamed. “You were supposed to be mine! When did looser get involved?!” She yelled. Man this girls annoying. “Don’t you ever use that tone with your Alpha Female!” He demanded. “SHES YOUR MATE?!” She screamed even louder. I looked around the room and noticed everyone was looking at us. “Tyler…” I whispered. He turned to look at me his cold eyes softened. “Yes Naomi?” “Can we go somewhere else?” I asked looking at my feet. Tyler took my hand and looked over at Amber. He growled and then led me to the stairs. “Go up stairs I’ll follow.” He said I nodded and did as he asked. I turned to make sure he was following me and he was… he was also looking at my butt.

            I blushed and flicked him in the head. He looked up and smiled sheepishly. “Keep going.” He said. I sighed and ran up the stairs so that I wouldn’t have to stay in that uncomfortable position for long. I turned to him when I got to the second level. “Where to?” I asked. He pointed down the hallway and walked to a room. When we went in it was huge. “Holy Crap.” I exclaimed. He chuckled and threw me on the bed. I smiled when he stood over me. “Ignore Amber… she’s harmless.” He said kissing my cheeks. I rolled my eyes.

            “So?” I started. “Obviously she wants you so I should go.” I said standing up ignoring my breaking heart. I almost got to the door when a hand grabbed mine. He spun me around and looked me in the eye. “Don’t” He said weakly. “Don’t go…” I looked him in the eye and gave him a weak smile. “I can’t stay I’m sorry.” I said meekly walking away. His hand tightened. “I can feel your pain.” He said looking at me. His eyes pained. I could see that. I think a blind person could see that. “You can feel and hear and smell everything cant you?” I asked lightly joking. He smiled. “Don’t go.” He said. I looked away from his beautiful eyes. “I just can’t stay. You have a life here… Amber is pretty and confident and I’m not… you deserve someone who is.” I said weakly. “Now… Naomi Johns… Listen to me right now.” He demanded authority laced in his voice. I looked up at his eyes that were not pained anymore no… now they held something much different; love, authority, concern and happiness. “You know just as well as I do that you don’t believe that crap.” He said his eyes narrowing. I could also hear the plead in the background of his voice.

            I slapped him. He looked stunned. “WHY DID YOU JUST DO THAT?!” he yelled. “I wanted to.” He smiled evilly and I walked back into the wall. “What are you doing?” I asked.  He grinned and picked me up faster than I could blink. He slung me over his shoulder. I squealed and started hitting his back. “Tyler! Put. Me. Down,” I said. He laughed and smacked my butt. “Nah I like this view too much!” He said. I pouted even though he couldn’t see. He sat me down and looked me in the eye. “You are so…” He was about to finish that sentence when there was a loud bang on the door. “COME IN!” He yelled angrily. Even making me flinch. He turned to look at me and he gave me a look that he was sorry.

            “It’s ok.” I whispered. He kissed my cheek and smiled. “I know.” Then the door opened and Amber walked in. “What do you want Amber?” Tyler asked with venom in his voice. She rolled her eyes. “She MUST have given you something to make you think that you are her mate. Because obviously you’re my mate!” She said crossing her arms warningly and giving me the death glare. “What are you talking about?” Tyler asked bored. I snickered and Barbie shot me a death glare. “Shut up.” She demanded. I shot up from my laying down position and walked up to her. “You don’t order me around! You don’t get it. He’s MINE!” I yelled then I remembered something… he’s in the room.
