“Seriously Chris this was the surprise?” I asked jokingly while he parked.
“Why you don’t like bowling?” he asked.
“Umm…”
“Well too bad I enjoy bowling and you’re going to have to live with it,” he interrupted me.
I couldn’t help but laugh, “no I’m fine with bowling but I’m not that great so be warned.”
“Well even if you were good at all you couldn’t beat me I’m the bowling champ in this town.”
“Sorry but you shouldn’t not brag about that Chris.”
“Why not? Bowling is awesome.”
“Yeah yeah lets go play so I can see your awesome bowling skills,” I said jokingly. We both got out of the car and he came on my side, grabbed my hand and started walking. While we held hands I couldn’t help but feel guilty. I shouldn’t feel this way Dom didn’t want me and Chris is a really good guy. Stupid mates, who needs one anyways.
“Ready to get your butt whopped my lady?” Chris asked opening the door for me.
“Not funny,” real clever response I know.
We walked up to the desk got the shoes we need and paid for two rounds. The bowling place was pretty big. There was a side to bowl glow in the dark than the other side was just normal lighting. We picked the lit side.
“So I’m assuming bowling in this town isn’t big?” I asked noticing there was no body here but a family and two other couples.
“It is just on certain nights. I should have probably asked if bowling was okay with you, its just that this is a really small town and there isn’t much to do,” he said looking at me making me feel bad for my comments before.
“Honestly I like bowling, I’m not good at it but I fairly much enjoy it,” I answered.
Chris smiled at me looking relieved, “good I didn’t want the date to be ruined before it even started. And I was thinking we play then go to a restaurant close by.”
“We can always just eat here. I’m actually wanting a hot dog.”
“Really!?” Chris asked shock clear on his face, “you’re a cheap date.” Right after he said that he I could tell he regretted it, “oh no I don’t mean it like that…”
Before he started hyperventilating I interrupted him, “Chris chill don’t worry I know what you meant,” I said laughing.
“I swear it came out wrong.”
“Don’t worry honestly I don’t get offended easily. Lets bowl.”
“Good idea.”
*Doms POV*
“Dad seriously what is the point of me coming to this dinner?”
“Dominic you are going to be alpha soon start acting like it. Joe is my best friend and there is more then you know going on.”
“Yea whatever,” I didn’t usually disrespect my father since he is alpha but I just didn’t want to see Liz. I sniffed and realized her scent is barely here. Wait a second tonight is her date with Chris. I don’t know why she’s going out with him I’m way better then him. Wait why am I thinking like this I don’t want her I have a perfectly good full wolf girlfriend that loves me I don’t need Liz.
“Dom are you listening to your father?” my mom asked me.
“Oh umm yea of course. Sorry dad,” I said, “why didn’t Liza have to come?”
