I rolled over expecting something or should I say someone to stop me but it never came. I opened my eyes to an empty tent. I sat up remembering my night with Dom and what he said and what I said but why isn’t he here?
I opened my tent to look out and saw it was daylight out. “Morning sunshine,” Liza said from the bench while I got out of the tent.
“Morning,” I said with a smile and walked over to the table.
“You look like you had a good night,” Wes said with a smirk.
“Enjoying my brothers shirt still I see,” Liza said and she started laughing. I looked down and realized that I still had it on. Oops.
“What time is it?” I asked as I sat across from them.
“Almost noon,” Jen said walking up to the table. “You look well rested sis.”
“And so did my brother this morning when I caught him leaving your tent,” Liza said with a smirk.
“Wait what?” Jen asked shocked.
“Stop it wasn’t like that,” I said because it wasn’t, “I told him he could sleep in my tent because he didn’t get a chance to set his up because of me.”
“So nothing happened at all?” Wes asked.
“No, I don’t even remember going into the tent. Last I remembered was falling asleep out here on his lap talking,” I told them.
Jen grabbed my arm, “wait you fell asleep on his lap!?”
“Yea but wait it wasn’t like that, he was upset about something and I just wanted to comfort him,” I told her.
“And what happened to holding out for longer?” she asked.
“I am but I felt bad for him last night,” I told her.
“Looks like I’m going to win this,” Wes said.
I looked at them all confused now, “win what?”
Liza hit Wes on the arm, “nothing, don’t listen to this idiot.”
Then it hit me, “you guys aren’t betting on how long I make him wait are you?” I asked shocked they would do that. They all looked in every direction but mine, “Jen tell me now.”
“Okay yes we are but if it helps me and Liza had high hopes for you,” she said, “sorry don’t be mad,” she said with pleading eyes.
I looked at her not caring they made a bet its just like them to do something like that so I just laughed at them, “don’t worry I’m not.”
Wes smiled, “told you she won’t care.”
“I care that you think I would give up so easily,” I said reaching over and punching him.
“Hey, I know Dom and how mates are, it was nothing against you,” he said trying to defend himself.
“Yea well I never gave in yet,” I told him.
“But you will soon and then these ladies will have to pay up,” he said with a smirk and wrapped his arm around Liza’s shoulders.
“We wont have to I have high hopes for my sister,” Jen said with a smile.
“Where’s Dom?” I asked not wanting to have this conversation anymore.
“Miss him already?” Eddie asked coming from his tent I’m assuming.
“Do all you guys ease drop?” I asked wondering if he heard everything.
“No but I wanted to know who Jen was talking to,” he answered coming and giving Jen a kiss on the cheek then he sat next to her.
