Chapter 16

“ELIZABETH CARTER HURRY UP! YOU’RE MAKING EVERYONE WAIT FOR YOU!” Jen called from downstairs.

“COMING!!” I called back packing up the last of the clothes I’ll need for the camping trip.

This week has been interesting with Dom, each chance he can to get me alone he takes to try and convince me to give him another chance. He’s probably apologized a million times and he’s left flowers and little letters for me at my lockers. Call me whatever you want but I through all that out. He can’t think buying me flowers will make everything better. Yea it’s a nice gesture and I may be too hard on him but he has to know he can never do that again.

“Liz your sister sent me up here to get you. Everyone is waiting in the cars and ready to go,” Dom said walking in my room and sat on my bed.

“I’m coming and don’t think you can just come in here whenever you want. You have to learn to knock,” I told him zipping up my bag.

“Seriously you’ve been a hard ass on me all week, how much longer are you going to hate me?” Dom asked.

“As long as I want,” I told him crossing my arms over my chest pretending I was mad because lets be real he is my mate and he’s been really nice this week but I still have to hold out a bit longer.

“For you I will take anything you want for as long as you want,” he said walking over to me and putting his hands on my arms and I knew we both felt the spark by the way we looked at each other. “I’m sorry Elizabeth, I honestly mean it and I will wait for you as long as you want.”

I moved back a bit before I did something I would regret, “can you grab my bags for me please,” I asked nicely with a smirk.

“For you babe anything,” he said turning and picking up my two bags and my sleeping bag. “How much clothes do you need? It’s only camping you don’t need much.”

“I’m a girl I need more then you think,” I said walking out my room.

“I never thought I would see the day Dominic gets whipped by my sister,” Jase said walking out his room. These two fight like cats and dogs. It does get funny sometimes but annoying most.

“Watch who you speak to like that pup,” Dom said back.

“Don’t call me that,” Jase said his eyes turning black. He hates when someone tries to belittle him eve though it was just a joke and he sort of started it.

“Relax the two of you. Please not now,” I said getting in between them. “Jase you’re not coming camping?”

Jase stepped back and looked at me and calmed down a bit, “naw I have soccer practice.”

“Oh, well have fun with that,” I said.

“Come on Liz we gotta go,” Dom said walking over to the steps.

“Yea have fun with him all weekend,” Jase said while we walked down the stairs.
