"Wait," Valentina says as she follows Nathan and Lucas outside of the apartment, "I can't come?"

"No, you cannot," Nathan says, "Boys only."

"This isn't fair!" Valentina complains. "I'm a Scott too!"

"You're a girl," Lucas says.

"Is there a problem with that?" Valentina asks, crossing her arms over her chest.

"No, but... this is guy stuff," Lucas says.

"It's a Bobcats game. I like basketball," Valentina says, "In fact, out of the three of us, I'm the only one who won a state championship!"

"Congratulations," Nathan says, "You're still not invited. I only have two tickets."

"Screw you both," Valentina mutters, "While you guys are away, I will be stealing everyone's girlfriend and wife! Starting with Anna and ending with Haley!"

"That's not funny," Nathan says.

"Neither is not inviting me," Valentina retorts.

"I'll buy you a jersey," Nathan offers.

"You'd better. Your wife is safe," Val looks at Lucas, "Anna, not so much."

"Val," Lucas warns.

"I'm kidding!" Valentina says, holding her hands up in mock surrender. "Mostly."

"We're leaving," Nathan says as he gives her a quick hug. "Behave."

"Never," Val says with a laugh.

Haley and Brooke walk up.

"Nathan just saved his marriage to you," Val teases. Nathan shoots her a look, and Val smiles innocently.

"What is she talking about?" Haley asks as she hugs Nathan.

"Nothing," Nathan says, kissing her, "She's just being her usual charming self."

"Someone has to be," Val says.

"Okay, we're off," Nathan tells Haley.

"Yay, okay go...whoever they are," Haley says enthusiastically.

"Bobcats," Nathan says.

"I love bobcats, they're so cute."

"You're such a girl," Nathan jokes.

"I'm a girl," Val mutters, "I can name every Bobcat. And Hornet. Hell, I can name every NBA player. Who won MVP in 1975? Bob McAdoo. Does Lucas know that? Probably not."

Brooke looks at Val with disgust, "You are such a guy."

"And you are broke."

Brooke gasps, "How dare you?"

"Can we go now?" Lucas asks, "You saw Haley, let's go."

"Come on, man, this is the first night we're spending apart since we got married," Nathan says as he steals another kiss.

"Yeah, and hopefully there will be many more. When you die," Val says.

"Hey, you want that jersey or not?" Nathan asks.

"Fine, fine," Valentina says, "I'll behave. Now."

"The girls are having a slumber party," Brooke says.

"Really?" Lucas asks.

"That's cool!" Nathan says, "Val, look, you can do girl stuff."

"I can," Val says with a grin, "Girl stuff like watching the game on TV. Hoping one of my brothers gets dunked on."
