"Another great game ladies!" Coach Durham tells them and the girls cheer in the locker room, "Scott? Can I see you in my office?"

Valentina nods her head and the girls in the locker room make an 'Oooo' sound.

"Is she pregnant?" One of her teammates asks.

"Have you ever seen Valentina with a guy?"

"Now that you mention it..."

There are a bunch of snickers and Valentina rolls her eyes in response as she follows her coach into her office.

"Am I in trouble?" Valentina asks as she stands by the door.

Coach Durham laughs as she takes a seat at her desk, "Should you be in trouble?"

"No," Valentina says quickly.

"I just wanted to know how you were doing," her coach tells her.

Valentina shrugs, "I'm fine. My grades are good."

"I know your grades are good. I was talking about your situation with your brothers," Coach Durham says to her, "How are you feeling about all that?"

"I'm fine," Valentina repeats her answer, "Lucas is good and I'm happy he's on the team."

"And Nathan?"

"We're fine," Valentina answers, "Everything is fine."

Coach Durham chuckles, "You know I went to school with your dad."

"Everyone did," Valentina answers, "People never seem to leave Tree Hill."

A smile crosses the older woman's lips, "You will, and I know you don't want to hear it from me, but I'm proud of you. You impressed the hell out of me your freshman year, and you still do so."

Valentina smiles, "Thanks, coach."

"No problem," she tells her, "Now hit the showers, you're stinking up my office."

Valentina rolls her eyes, but the smile stays on her lips as she goes to take a shower. She gets dressed and heads out of the locker room, ready to witness Lucas's first game. It was a Tuesday night, which meant that there was a smaller crowd than usual, but a small crowd in Tree Hill was still a decent crowd.

"Hey Brooke," Valentina said as she walked past the cheerleader. Her eyes went over to Peyton who glanced at her and gave her a simple nod of acknowledgment, a gesture which Valentina returned.

"Hey," Brooke says, throwing her arms around Valentina's neck, "You played great tonight."

"Thanks," she says with a smile.

"So, tell me about your brother, 'cause he's really cute," Brooke says.

"Lucas? You probably wouldn't like him. I think he's into books and reading and did I mention he was into books?"

"I read," Brooke tells her and Valentina scoffs.

"Not for fun," she retorts.

Brooke lets out a groan, "You're right."

Valentina laughs and the buzzer sounds, indicating the beginning of the game. Valentina places her hand on Brooke's shoulder, "I'll catch up with you later."

Valentina heads over to the bleachers which sat her mother and Dan.

"Val!" She stopped walking and saw her uncle sitting on the bleachers. A smile crossed her lips as she went over to talk to him, not noticing the scowl on her father's face.
