"Thank y'all for coming out! We'll see ya next time!" Tyler Hubbard's southern drawl was barely audible from the crowd's loud shrieks. He could feel his heart beating faster as his eyes scanned the large venue, the country music fans smiling ear to ear. His adrenaline was on ten. He almost felt emotional- he was so blessed. Just then, he looked to the sky and blew a kiss to his dad, who was more than likely smiling down upon him. He knew he made him proud.

"Thank you guys! We love y'all!" Brian Kelley, the 'Florida' in Florida Georgia Line, yelled out as he wrapped an arm around his best friend's shoulder. They looked at the crowd one last time before they each took a bow. Their band was still playing the music to their hit song 'Cruise' in the background, the crowd amped. Brian waved goodbye and made his way backstage while Tyler remained in front of the fans and blew them one last kiss. Once again, he was reminded why they did what they did- for them, the fans. A whirlwind of emotions hit him as he exited the stage. The main thing he felt above all, though, was happiness. A few crew members patted him on the back as he made his way backstage. One of them handed him a half-empty bottle of fireball, which he immediately opened and took a swig from. Sweat dripped from his body, but he knew he wouldn't rest anytime soon. That night was worth a celebration. He finally reached the backstage area, where Thompson Square's crew was getting ready to set up for their set. He broke into a smile when he saw BK on the other side of the room, wiping sweat off his face with a blue bandana.

"What do you think about that man? That was crazy!" Tyler spoke, grabbing Brian by the shoulders and shaking him playfully. He could tell the energy wasn't going to die down anytime soon. It was the first night of the Dirt Road Diaries tour, Luke Bryan's first headling tour, in Evansville, Indiana. It had been a great turn out. Thousands of fans were already seated in the venue, ready for a good time- and that was just for the opening act. Brian shoved the bandana into the back pocket of his ripped blue jeans and nodded his head in agreement.

"Yeah man, they were fire. Speaking of- can I have some of that?" He asked, gesturing to the whisky bottle in Tyler's hand. His biceps were glistened with sweat and his gray shirt was soaked. But hey, that's what happens when you give it all you got. Tyler chuckled and watched as Brian opened the bottle and chugged the feel-good liquid.

"You're thirsty, huh? What do you say we go out and get some drinks? You know, to celebrate how great we did out there." He retrieved the bottle from his best friend and took another drink himself before he sealed it. Tyler was pumped, and all he could think about was getting drunk and staying out too late. Maybe picking up a few girls, too. What could it hurt? After all, he was single and he wanted to have a good time. The 'wake up in the morning not knowing what happened the night before but it must've been fun' kinda good time. Brian didn't answer right away- he seemed hesitant. He ran a hand through his blonde sweat-matted hair and looked around the room before he finally replied.

"I don't know, Tyler." He looked to his boots, avoiding eye contact with him. Tyler couldn't help but feel confused. Brian was always up for a good time, no matter when or where. It had been awhile since they hung out- maybe a little over three months. Sure they went to award shows together and appeared on TV, but that was work, on camera. They had each been gone most of the fall and barely said a word to each other during the rehearsals the past week. Tyler was looking forward to catching up, and lately it had been all work and no play. Finally, now that touring started, they had a lot of free time after their set. Time to hang out and get drinks. So why was Brian so indecisive?
