𝐒𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐧𝐚𝐫𝐜𝐡𝐲 𝐏𝐫𝐞𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 & 𝐎𝐧𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐭𝐬

Watching a horror film would include...

JAX
You and Jax enjoy a scary movie every once in a while. He's a fan of them but doesn't like to watch them often because he says his life is scary enough. You just think he's dramatic, though, and really enjoy the movies.

You're not a fan of the newer movies and much prefer the classics, but a simple trailer gets Jax interested in them and he rents the movie, having let his curiosity get the better of him. He forces you to watch it. You'll never admit you liked it, though, and will point out how a classic was better made. Then he thinks you're being dramatic.

You both love popcorn and almost eat half the bag before the movie even starts, so you end up having to make two bags. Sometimes you'll order a pizza, too.

Neither of you get scared or scream during the movie. As he said, his life is scary enough, so they don't phase him.

You cuddle the whole time, with his arm draped over you as you cuddle into his side.

Once the movie is over you guys act like you're renowned movie reviewers and discuss the movie. You say if you liked the plot or not, characters, if you had a favorite character and which one you hated the most, if you thought the killer was interesting, and if you'd ever watch it again.

If you like it, he'll buy the movie so you can watch it whenever.

HAPPY
Happy's favorite genre is horror; he absolutely loves it. He enjoys it so much he started a collection of films and has a shelf full of them. He much prefers the classics but enjoys the newer ones too, and he loves finding new favorites.

He sits unphased as you watch, he feeds off of them. He finds them hilarious but deeply interesting, especially the killers and their tactics. In fact, he frequently roots for killer because he finds the other characters boring and stupid.

You also enjoy them but not as much as Happy does. You don't get frightened by them either, which Happy likes. Because if you were scared over a fictional story, then you were bound to be scared of him; someone who does those acts. Due to this, he will ask you which kill you thought was the best and which wasn't as good.

During the movie, as someone is being slaughtered, he will frequently turn to you and ask "You think that would work?"

You shrug, "Maybe."
The tactic didn't seem very reliable.

Happy sighs and turns back to the screen, "Gonna have to try it."

But you're always too curious on how his runs go. "Let me know."

You actually think he may be the worst person to watch a horror movie with because he's already guessed who the killer is, not even 30 minutes in. He doesn't always say who it is but you think it defeats the whole purpose of watching the movie.

You have to tell him to stop spoiling it. You even told him to stop looking so deeply into the characters and just watch the movie naturally.

TIG
As long as the movie doesn't include dolls, Tig loves them. He does prefer action or comedy movies more but will watch a horror film, especially if you really want to watch it.

You guys sit on the couch, you on his lap and his arms tightly around your waist. He has to be touching you, even if you don't sit in his lap.

You have a table full of snacks. You both like to have popcorn and candy more than anything else.

However, Tig is the worst person to watch a horror movie, or any movie for that matter with because he simply will not shut up. You frequently have to rewind the movie to hear what was said or what happened.
