Chapter 7

~*~Kenzie's POV~*~

I ran over as fast as I could. As soon as I got there Jessie saw me and pulled me behind him. I was kind of scared till I realized my step dad just hit Jessie in the jaw. Shit I thought. I went to go in front to see if he was okay but he wouldn't let me!

"Jessie are you okay?"

"He is fine love, but he wont be if he doesn't except the deal I gave him. Oh and Kenzie dear, I can't believe I forgot to tell you about my sons. What will Jessie think of you when he finds out about us?" Alex hissed.

Jessie turned and looked at me with disgust. If he only knew what Alex was talking about. I looked at Alex and my step father.

"Whatever this is, its over so leave your not welcomed here." I say and turn to Jessie.

"What is my father talking about Kenzie?"

"Its not what you think and we are not talking about this here."

I grabbed his hand and walked off. I was done being there with those two pricks. I got to the parking lot and stopped. I turned and looked at his jaw where a bruise was forming. I shook my head. That punch was meant to hit me not him.

"Lets find some where quiet to talk."

He nodded and lead me to his car. I got in and watched him carefully as he got in as well. The ride was quiet neither of us spoke. It was killing me. I hated the silence. We pulled up to the gym. I was shocked.

"Nobody is here so it will just be us. I thought it would be better because my family doesn't need to know about them being here or them trying to make me make a deal with them. So lets go." he said with such anger.

We walked into the gym and we walked into a office. He sat down and watched me. I locked eyes with him and wanted to cry he thinks I am involved with his dad.

"Look my step dad deals with some people and couldn't pay the debt so he gave me to them. Your dad thinks he owns me and is pissed that I left to live with my real dad. He wont stop till he gets me. He wants me as some sex slave. He is the real reason I started fighting." I say in one breath. "My secret is out so your turn?"

He looked at me and I could see the anger in his eyes. It wasn't towards me but towards Alex. "Look I am not sure if I can trust you or not seeing as you have been around my father. Who has been trying to get me involved with his business he wants me to locate people and beat the living crap out of them till they pay up. I told him no but he wont leave it." He says and I can tell there is more.

"I get that you don't trust but I am telling the truth. I am sorry I didn't know he was your father."

I didn't tell him the worst part was his father raped me at the age of 15 that ended with me being pregnant but didn't know and that is also when I started really getting into boxing and lost the baby. I was ashamed the only one that knows is my sister. Which I haven't seen in a while I hope she is okay.

"So Jessie what now. I really like you as a friend maybe more." I say.

"I don't know Kenzie. Its going to be hard to trust you. I will try but hurt me once, lies, secrets and I am done with you." He says as he stands up.

He took one long stride over to me and grabbed me pulling me into his arms. I knew I had to tell him because if I don't he will hate me. I started to cry softly into his chest. I pulled back.

"Jessie I have to tell you something and its not easy." I say wiping the tears from my face.

"What is it baby girl?"
