Chapter 5-Relax before the fights.

I won't be updating over the weekend. Why you ask, because my luvs it's my birthday Sunday and my hubby is taking me out of town to celebrate! So have a good weekend!

Chapter 5

I didn't sleep well last night. All that was on my mind was Kenzie being in danger. I got up and got ready for school. I walked down to the kitchen to see my mom making breakfast for Nessa and Gavin. I grabbed a Gatorade from the fridge and kissed my moms cheek. I said bye to all of them and grabbed Kenzie's bag and headed out the door.

Once at school I waited till I saw Kenzie's car pull up. I walked over and waited for her to get out. She saw me and tried to look away. I walked up and handed her the bag.

"You left in such a hurry you forgot these."

"Yeah sorry. I had to get home, I lost track of time."

"Well your phone wouldn't stop beeping."

"Sorry". She said as she opened her phone and went thought the messages. She looked up at me with pained filled eyes. "Did you go through my phone?"

"I only saw one message I know I shouldn't of, but I thought it was your sister wondering where you were. But it wasn't and what I saw I didn't like. Kenzie if your in any trouble or if you think he is going to come back you should go to the cops. I will take you myself. My uncles brother is on the police force he can help." I saide to her.

"Trust me when I say nobody can help,somehow he always finds a way around. He was just released from jail. That's when I started getting messages from him. I just ignore them."

"Ok but if something happens promise me you will let me help."

"Okay. Are we still training tonight?" I looked at her and smiled.

"Considering we both have fights this weekend and it's already Wednesday. Yes we are training."

"Okay sounds good. I will meet you at the gym then."

"Yep" I said as I popped the p.

"So-". She was cut off by a group of girls running up to me.

"Jessie, we heard about your fight! We will be there cheering you on like always." One said. Then I looked and saw Tessa, my ex fling.

She walked up and put her hands on my chest. "Hey Jessie maybe I can help you release before and after your fight for old time sake." Tessa is a slut and I couldn't care any less about her. I saw Kenzie roll her eyes.

"Sorry Tessa but that's not me anymore." I pulled her hands off and walked back over to Kenzie. "Sorry about that, where were we?" Kenzie laughed and starred to walk, so I said as well.

"Fan club I take it?"

"Yeah and you got jokes." I told her.

The rest of the day went pretty slow, but that night at the gym went to fast as did the next day. It's Friday night and the fights are tomorrow night. Tony told us not to train tonight. Which I never do the night before a fight. School was boring. Tessa kept trying to get my attention specially when Kenzie and I were together. It was pissing me off.

Once school was out I went to my car to see Kenzie standing there with Jake. As I walked up I looked at them and raised a brow at them.

"Alright spill it what's going on?"

"Well we figured we should have a little fun tonight!" Kenzie said.

"No not tonight, the fight is tomorrow I have to stay focused and so should you. No distractions." I said in a stone voice saying I'm not changing my mind.

"Jake can you give us a minute." Kenzie said and I thought of crap! "Look as long as my mind is off the text I got a little while ago, I'm good. But I need a distraction from that and Tony said if he finds out I trained tonight I out. So please!"

"Show me the text Kenzie!" The whole time she was talking I heard text, and knew it was from her step dad.

She looked at me with sad eyes. "I deleted it after I read it. Just like I do with all of them."

I pulled her into a hug. "What is it you were thinking of doing?"

She smiled. "Well, I was thinking a good swim in your pool with everyone would be fun and not to crazy. So we can relax for the fight but also have fun. Plus I get to see that sexy body of yours." She said and winked. "So I'll see you soon grump!

I smiled and shook my head. She is something else. I walked over to jake. "Not. A. Word." I told him as we got into my car. I turned on the radio as Radioactive played. Once we got home I talked to mom a little I told her Jake invited people over and it wasn't my idea. But Jake had to put his two cents in and tell him Kenzie convinced me to go along with it. Mom laughed and told me she likes Kenzie.

I went up to my room and changed. As I laid on my bed looking up at the ceiling. I couldn't stop thinking of Kenzie and I must have fallen asleep. When I woke up Kenzie was laying next to me starring at the ceiling.

"Uh how did you get in here?" I asked.

"Well Nessa let me in because everyone is waiting and no one wanted to wake you because they are all afraid you would hurt them. But I'm not so lets go swimming!" She said as she bounced up and then grabbed my hand to pull me up.

"I have to change. I'll be down in a second."

I just had Kenzie in my bed and nothing happened. Wow! That's the 1st I thought. I got dressed and went down to see everyone laughing and having fun. I walked out and sat on the lounge chair watching Kenzie splash around with Nessa and Jasmine. Jonathan came over and sat next to me.

"You know your making it obvious." He said.

"I can't help it she does something different to me, you know how your looking at Jasmine. Why didn't you ever tell me you had feelings for you, because she has had then for you for a long time now."

"Our you boys going to sit and chat or get in?" Kenzie asked.

I smiled and got up. I then dove right in next to her. When I came up I was attacked be Nessa. She jumped on my back. I swan around with her like that to give myself a little work out. Mom came out and told us all to dry off dinner was done. With that everyone but Kenzie and I jumped out. I took my time as did she.

"So are you excited about your fight?" I asked.

"Yes I am! How about you?" She said but I was to busy checking out her slim fit body. "Jessie?"

"Oh yeah sorry I was thinking about the fight. Yeah I'm excited." Clearly I am just please don't let her see how I'm excited. I need a cold shower.
