Carissa's P.O.V

"Where the fuck is he?" I growl as I pace back and forth in the living room.

Ross sighs, grabbing my arm. "Babe, calm down. He-"

My husband was cut off by Noah slamming the door. "WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN!?" I yell as I storm over to him.

He shakes his head, the tears streaming down his face make me feel bad. "I fucked up, mom. I fucked up really bad," he slides down the door. "I hurt her. I promised I would never hurt her in that way but look where we are now!" He slams his fists onto the floor.

Ross pulls our youngest child up. "What're you talking about, Noah. What happened?" I ask softly.

"SHE USED THE SAFE WORD! SHE CRIED HERSELF TO SLEEP BECAUSE I HURT HER SO BAD!" He punches the wall. "I hurt her," he whispers.

Ross and I share a look of worry and confusion. "Noah, come sit down and explain what's going on," Ross says calmly.

We sit on the couch. "First off; why're you just getting home at 2 in the morning?" I ask angrily.

"I-I was with Emory," he chokes out. "We've been back together for like a month now. I went over there tonight to.. yano.. Mess around. I hurt her so much, mom." He buries his face in his hands. "The worst part is that it was during sex. I think that's why she was crying so much. Then she begged me to stay so I did- until she fell asleep."

I rub his back, listening intently.

"She told me she loved me, but how can she? I made her uncomfortable. You don't understand how bad it was. We had to change the sheets because she was bleeding. Oh my god. It was so bad," he cries.

I hug him tightly. "Why'd you leave her? You could've called and said that you were staying out," I whisper.

"I felt so guilty and disgusting," he admits. "I would never raise a hand to her, let alone tear her vagina open."

Ross stifles a laugh, earning a glare from me. "well, I think that you should text her or something. Maybe text her early tomorrow and tell her to be ready by a certain time so you can take her to breakfast. Let her know you don't want to hurt her," he says to Noah who will not stop crying.

Our son nods against me. "Thanks, dad. I'm going to bed. Night," he makes his way to the stairs.

"Night! Love you!" We call after him.

"Love you too," he sighs.

I turn to Ross. "For a bad boy, you sure are a hopeless romantic," I smirk.

He rolls his eyes. "You changed me, Carissa. You know that," he whispers as he leans over to kiss me. I turn my head so he kisses my cheek. "That's not cool," he pouts.

I shrug, "I never was the cool girl in school, now was I?"

He huffs, crossing his arms over his chest. "No, but Ashley was," he grumbles.

"You know how you like how comfy the couch is?" He nods in response. "That's where you'll be sleeping tonight," I walk upstairs.

I hear Ross yell profanities at himself all night long. I groan, closing my eyes tightly. "Just ignore him and he'll shut up," I assure myself.
