Chapter 5 - Journey
Let's just say the journey was almost bearable... Lilli snoring in my ear (she never managed to stay awake on long journeys), the radio playing opera. (which is just people wailing in a very high pitched voice) and the idiotic driver trying to sing along, someone should probably restrain him if he wants to audition for the X Factor!
I know normal people would just put their headphones in and be done with it but I'm not normal and I stupidly packed them in my bag that is not in my reach because some idiot took the bag off of me and locked it in the boot. I resorted to daydreaming whilst gazing out of the darkened windows, the star shone dimly and lacked sparkle but that could have been the tinted windows making them seem dull and lifeless.
"Mya.. Myyyaaa... Myyyyyaaaaa... MYA" The drivers loud voice snapped me out of my silent reverie.
"Huh?"
"Security are waiting for you" I tried looking out of the windows but everything outside was currently invisible to me...
I turned and gently shook Lilli, "Wake up sweetie, we're here"
"We're in Melbourne already?"
I lovingly poked her in the head and replied with, "No, now get up!"
She groaned and reluctantly rolled out of the van, where we both looked up to see four large men looking down at us and airport staff carrying all our cases, boxes and bags into the entrance but away from the check-in desks. "Where are they taking our stuff?" panic was evident in my voice.
"They are taking your belongings to the private plane."
"Pr-pr-private plane?"
"Yes Miss, the music company sent it to get you but you will go through arrivals in Melbourne as normal. They only sent this plane to lower the risk of your father getting you. My name James and this is Josh and Jordan, we are all from Melbourne proud to say it's where we were born and raised and now we are your body guards, you come to us if you need to get somewhere or if you have any problems. "
And smile crept up on my face and I realised my dream was actually coming true also the sexy Australian voices around me gave me hope of romance...
We walked around looking in the shops for food but we were swiftly told buying food and drink wasn't necessary as the plane was 'fully stocked' with supplies. I bought about 15 books well James bought them and he also got us some beats by Dr Dre he said they were from the company, I don't get why they are buying us these gifts because it's not like they have to bribe us to go to Melbourne. Anyway I chose baby blue ones and couldn't take my eyes off them, bye earphones hello my beats babies! James also grabbed me an iPad but Lilli wanted a Kindle, we couldn't stop saying thank you!
We carried on shopping for an hour or so just picking up random stuff to keep us entertained, we also got supplies for school because we start next week... Yay! Well I'm not exactly looking forward to it, I'm terrified of everything like, getting lost, kidnapped, killed.. But I think we go to school with the Janoskians considering were the same age!
We walked down to the private sector of the airport to get out to our plane even though we still weren't boarding for 50 minutes. It was all businessy and posh and I certainly felt like I didn't belong there... One of the airport staff was staring at me, I noticed out the corner of my eye but didn't make a big deal out of it, he was good looking but the way his eyes floated over my body sent shivers down my spine.
In the private sector there was a gorgeous beauty spa and clothes store, I looked up at Josh and I think he read my mind. He escorted me in and asked the ladies to help me with whatever I needed, he then left me to take Lilli to the beauty spa.
