Chapter 30

It was around noon the next day and I started to clean up from the party. Aaron, Jackson, and Jack slept on the couch overnight. Nash pushed Cameron out of his bed and onto the floor. Cameron remained there for the night so I slept in Cameron's room. Nash got up about 10 minutes and tapped me on the shoulder.

"Hey cutie." Nash said smiling and wrapping his hands around my neck.

"Hey Nash..." I said sadly.

"What's wrong babe?" He said turning me around.

"You know what's wrong..." I said breaking from his hug to clean up all the shot glasses.

"Here let me help," Nash said smiling. He grabbed the plates and put them away. "Look, you have to watch Cameron. He is the nicest guy you'll ever meet but he doesn't know how to handle people. That's why him and I have been kind of distant lately. He's crazy and he just hurts people after people after people. If you don't mind getting hurt, feeling worthless, and being practically invisible at sometimes then Cameron's your guy y/n." Nash said making me feel like shit.

"But I don't deserve this. I don't want to be hurt. I deserve to be loved and treated with respect. And I'm not worthless. I'm anything but that. I need someone who values me as much as I value them. I deserve that too. I'm not invisible. I'm here and I don't know for how much longer. I want someone to care for me and love me and make me feel like the most important person in their world." I said starting to cry. "I don't deserve this..."

"You're right.. you don't. You are amazing in every way. You're beautiful and smart, funny and kind, and... that's why I love you. The only thing holding you back y/n is Cameron." Nash said lifting my head up with his hand.

"Maybe you're right.. Maybe Cameron and I should end it.. after all what are we hanging on for?" I said wiping my tears.

I walked past Nash's room and too the office where Sierra was staying on the pullout bed. I told her EVERYTHING.

"Oh my! Are you serious? This isn't the Cameron I know.." Sierra said with both hands on her head. "You are the most amazing girl Cameron has ever dated and I know how devastated he would be to lose you.. I'll talk to him because you're right, you don't deserve this honey.." She said hugging me tightly. "I'll tell him I promise.."

"I already know... I know everything. Glad Nash talked you out of wanting to be with me. Real friends huh?" Cameron said standing in the door way. He shook his head and walked off.
