Chapter 15

We sat down at the table and he stared at me.

"Why are you staring at me? Do I have something in my teeth?" I said jokingly.

"No, your just..." He said.

"Just what?" I asked.

"Beautiful." He said smiling.

"I should let you know, Nathan, I have a boyfriend..." I said trying not to hurt his feelings.

Nathan sighed and said "Well he must be a great guy to win your heart."

"He is." I said thinking of Cam.

"How long have you known him?" Nathan said in a low voice.

"Um.. About 3 weeks" I said trying to avoid the awkward tension.

He walked over to my seat and sat next to me. He put his arm around me and looked into my eyes.

"But I've known you longer." He said smirking.

"Yes but.." I said interrupted by him.

"And I bet he won't find out if we.." I cut him off.

"Nathan! Stop now." I said pushing away from him.

"One kiss? It will be like a friend kiss?" Nathan said.

"Ok just don't get any ideas." I said knowing what he had in mind. I didn't want to be rude but I felt so uncomfortable. It was like pure hell.

"Actually let's just go back to my condo so I can show you the place." Nathan said.

"But I have a.. a.. Thing." I said.

"Uh huh.. Sure a thing. Come one lets just go now." Nathan said.

"Um.. Okay." I said.

Cameron hopped in his car and followed us to Nathan's. Cam was trying to act all secretive but I saw him creeping on us at the restaurant. He is so over protective but now I'm glad he came.

Nathan opened his door and told me to put my purse down.

"Let me show you the bedroom." He said holding my hand.

I sat on the bed.

"This place is huge..." I said.

Nathan finished showing me the condo and we finally walked back outside.

"So that's the place." Nathan said

"I should go now.." I said trying to leave.

"Why so soon?" Nathan said.

"Reasons which are none of your business.." I said firmly.

"Then I might as well say it now. Look y/n I have always liked you and you are as stunning as ever and you make me melt..." He said.

"Nathan I.. I liked you too it's just you're a little late. I mean I am dating Cameron and there is Nash and the guys and I just can't. I'm sorry boo." I said to Nathan.

"What happened to you? What happened to us?" He asked.

"Time.. It's been over a year Nathan. People grow apart. I am leaving. I have made up my mind." I said.

"Maybe this will change it." Nathan said.

He grabbed my neck and kissed me for about a minute. I didn't know whether to be kind and leave or just run.

"I think I forgot my purse inside." I said pulling away.

We went back inside and I could see Cam in his car about to kill someone. His face was bright red but he didn't want me to know he was spying.

I was so confused and began to think that my drink had something in it. I felt dizzy and confused.

No wonder Nathan wanted me to come to the house right away. No wonder why he didn't want me to realize this in public.

"Whose that outside?" Nathan said.

"Camer-.." I stopped knowing that Nathan would kill Cam if he could.

"You sent your boyfriend to spy on us? You thought I was going to do something y/n!" Nathan said kicking me in the stomach,

"Na-theRN stop!" I said dizzily.

"No." Nathan said.

"Do you here yourse-ll-f? Are you drunk?" I said woozy from the spiked drink.

I desperately got to my feet and quickly ran out the door. I jumped in to Cam's car and locked the door.

"What went on I-" Cam asked as I cut him off.

"No time. Drive!" I said.
