"Good morning!" Lauren cheered, making her way into the diner, some customers giving her judgemental looks."You're 15 minutes late, Lauren. One more time and you're out of here," Harry said, annoyance obviously heard in his tone.
Lauren settled by the cash register and gave me a what-the-fuck-crawled-up-Harry's-ass-again look.
I sighed and went to a table where a customer was waving her hand, signalling me that she wants to order.
"Good morning. I'm Niall, your server. May I please take your order?" I said and flashed the best fake smile I could give.
-
"Why do you even like that jerk?" Lauren asked me, preparing a chocolate milkshake that a customer had ordered.
I shrugged. Even I don't know what I like about Harry. Maybe it's because he's so hot when he gets mad or because he-
"Who's so hot when he's mad?"
Shit, I've been thinking out loud. I turned around to face Harry. He seems more relax now than this morning.
Lauren chuckled behind my back before leaving with the milkshake. My heart was beating rapidly as Harry looked at me, waiting for a response.
"Oh my gosh! My stomach hurts so bad. Ouch!" I faked, clutching onto my stomach. "I need to go to the toilet for a while," I rambled, running to the toilet.
As soon as I reached the toilet, my face was as red as a tomato and my whole body was shaking.
What effect that jerk has on me.
"Niall? I know it's just your way to get out of Harry's sight. Get the hell out of there because the diner's getting chaotic," I heard Lauren say.
I groaned before opening the door, hoping Harry's in his office.
-
"I still remember when Harry first smiled at you and you were so happy that you treated everybody in the diner free fries and milkshakes," Lauren said, laughing hard.
"Shhh! Harry will hear you, asshole," I whispered.
"So what? He needs to know that you want to fuck him into his mattress and-"
She suddenly shut up when Harry walked in the kitchen, giving us a look of utter disgust before walking to the fridge. I immediately face palmed and Lauren stood there, smirking at me.
"Hey, Boss!" Lauren called, making Harry look at the both of us.
"Do you think Niall looks hot?", she asked.
I felt like killing her and throwing her in the nearest ocean. I was shaking again, my whole body turning sweaty.
Harry examined me from head to toe before taking a can of coke and closing the fridge's door. He walked closer.
"He'd look hot if he went back to work," Harry simply says, smirking.
"Go back to work, you two."
Asshole, asshole, asshole.
