"Okay," I said, defeated. All I wanted was to get out of Harry's sight right now."You'll do it, Niel?" he said, his green eyes lighting up.
"Yes. Can I go home? I don't feel so well," I said, trying to blink back tears.
"Do you want me to take you home?"
"No, thank you. I can manage," I said before standing up and leaving.
I couldn't help but let my tears roll down my cheeks as I rode the bus back to my apartment.
I knew what I was risking from the start. I knew that I had no chance with Harry from the start. Why was I so stupid to let myself be attracted to him?
Now, I've agreed to act as his boyfriend... for his ex.
The thought of that just makes me even more sick.

"Good morning, Nialler!" Lauren cheered as I entered Larry's the following morning.
I was in no mood for being optimistic.
"Open the diner, Lauren. I'll start preparing in the kitchen," I said, walking past her and walking into the kitchen.
I cleared up some dishes and began frying some eggs and making some pancakes since that's our specialty for breakfast.
"Niel? Do you have a second?"
I turned to look at Harry and began to walk towards him.
"He's coming tomorrow," he began, "What am I supposed to do?" He continued.
"Just act like you don't give half a fuck about him being here and focus on me. I'm your b-boyfriend, right?" I said.
This is going to be tough.
"Thank you, Niel. I hope I'm not bother you too much. You can go back to work," he said, grinning.
A sigh escaped my dry lips.
-
"You dumb fuck! Why the fucking hell did you agree?!" Lauren exclaimed, hitting me hard at the back of my head."I don't know!" I said, rubbing the back of my head.
"I suggest for you to just take all the chances you've got now that he's your boyfriend," Lauren said.
"I bet I look hotter than Tomlinson," I said, wiping the counter.
"Of course you look hotter than him!"
"Hotter than who?"
Lauren and I turned behind in synchronisation. We exchanged looks, not knowing what to say to Harry.
"I... said that Niall looks hotter than... that guy!" Lauren said, pointing at a random shirtless man across the street.
Harry laughed.
He laughed.
"Of course Niel's hotter than him," Harry said, winking at me before leaving with a wide smirk on his face.
Lauren wiggled her eyebrows at me.
Oh my gosh.
