"You can lose people without them dying, and I have, from moving, from traveling. The emotion is real, it just doesn't actually have to do with death. I'm singing about what I know, and it's a song about longing for somebody who's disappeared in your life."Jon Crosby-
Zuri's POV
"Something snapped and laced with pain just for a short moment then darkness enveloped me."
I watched as my little sisters Erza and Elise run outside laughing as they both have muds all over their faces.
I sat at the front porch with a wide grin plastered on my face before the two ran towards me with sticky muds on their hands and with wicked smile on their lips.
"Uh-oh, time to run." I shouted before dashing inside the house.
I was floating, slipping in and out of my memories, happy, sad, cherished memories, every bit of it.
Me with my parents, my Mother's cookies, my coven and then me fighting wolves with my friends, the fire inside me that wanted to protect my siblings.
Then my inevitable death.
I saw all of it in a replay.
Another darkness.
I hate darkness, the cold and empty feeling inside me.
One I couldn't escape.
When will this end?
Then a spark of light.
Hope.

It felt like eternity, I was in deep slumber and I almost lost count how long until I felt something warm enveloped my being.
I slowly opened my eyes and I was almost blinded by white, gold and silver streaks, I blinked once until my eyes are settled with the brightness I'm not sure where from.
"He's awakened." I heard someone announced with a celestial voice and I look up to where the voice was coming from and I saw a couple of angelic beings with white wings gathered beside me.
I took an oath to protect the kingdom, an oath to protect mankind, an oath to serve the creator.
I'll be one of the light, one of the Guardians.
And that's when I became an Angel.
I was awakened, I was branded.
ZURI.
