"The magic thing about home is that it feels good to leave, and it feels even better to come back."

Amara's POV
As I was sitting outside our porch rocking myself in the swing my Dad made for me long ago, something hit me, I wasn't sure what it was, mixed emotions filled me, it started with anger, then sadness, I felt despair and lastly longing.
I am sure it wasn't mine, this feeling wasn't mine.
It was Trent's.
I've missed him so much but everything was so fvcked up I needed time for myself.
I would have reached out sooner if it wasn't too messed up, I know I needed time.
And then I heard it, it was faint at first, Trent's soothing voice longing for me.
I reached out to it. "Trent?" I asked.
I felt a sudden relief and now I'm sure it was him.
The mate pull is getting stronger as the time pass by and now that I think of it, its been 8 months since I found him but I haven't been officially accepted the title Luna of the pack, no idea even how its done. Oh well, it will happen eventually.
The visit I made at my parent's place helped me realized something, it helped me realize how lucky I am and that I should focus on the good in my life.
Having been raised in these household full of laughters and good memories, knowing how special I am when I thought long ago I was plain and boring, having Kirk and Fiona as my friends, meeting my brother Kellan, knowing my real parents, being in a pack to lead and yes meeting Trent.
I can say life is good and I intend to keep it that way.
Whatever shït is coming, I'll make sure to protect what I have right now.
I stood up with a confident smile on my face and went inside the house to talk to my parents, in time they'll find their place back to their kingdom, alongside angels like us the choice is up to them now.
And yes, I'm coming back to the place where I belong back to my mate.
"Wait for me Trent."

Kellan's POV
It's been weeks since we all heard from Amara and I can sense that Trent is restless, I am too but I don't let it get to me.
I trained her so I'm confident that she can protect herself well, I believe in her, no angel's are weak and certainly not my sister.
She will be back.
I went out of the room that I'm staying inside the pack house and as I passed the living area I saw Kirk with Jacob playing Call of Duty Black ops.
He made me transfer on the pack grounds when he realized I'm Amara's brother.
"That dumbass."
Both are are almost at each other's throat for a game and it made me chuckle, honestly, staying here makes me feel more like humanly, less obligations and missions but more of fun and freedom.
I stepped outside the door and as I was about to stretch my wings and take off I saw Erza entering the premises so I halted and wait for her.
Her gazed avoiding mine and it made me irritated in some ways, not normal for me to feel this way but I do.
I tried to block her way in and that earn a snap from her. "What do you want now Angel?!"
I don't know why I felt the urge to cup her face and just smother her kisses right then and there but I ignored it focusing on my task which is to apologize to her.
I looked straight into her eyes with all the sincerity and courage I could muster. "I'm sorry if I took it on you last time, it wasn't my intention at all."
"No big deal Angel, now can I leave?" She said trying to walk pass me when I reached her wrist.
"I really am sorry, Erza"
I didn't missed the surprised look on her face before she smiled and said. "Yes I know, apology accepted." Then walked passed me.
"Kellan." She whispered and it sent shivers to my core.
