Kiara

Chapter 3

When dad came to know that I, Kiara, got married with Jordan, he was so furious and at the same time extremely sad. He came to meet me in Jordan home and repeated mention that i made a very big mistake in choosing this guy and that really he was not worthy of me. Dad keep reminding me that he was a womanizer and that he will never change. But that was enough as i told dad that i cannot tolerate anyone humiliating Jordan as he was my husband now.

Dad left the house with anger and somehow i felt terribly upset. Strong hand surrounded my waist and pulled me closer to him.

"I will always be here for you.", Jordan promised.

Kiara smiled as she turn around and hug Jordan tightly. "I know", she whispered. " I feel very upset when Dad humiliate you."

Jordan smile and took her in his arms."I know what you need right now to make you feel better", he murmured as he lock his door and carry her into their bedroom. 

Kiara began to protest." Not now baby, please".

Jordan began to kiss her and knew that she will not be able to resist for long and will finally let go. As he lay her on the bed and began to undress her, Kiara again protested.

"Baby, please i have to focus on our future. I need to prepare our project work to submit it to the bank to get the loan".

Jordan look at her with surprise eyes. "Which project work and loan?"

Kiara adjusted her dress and sat on the bed. She made Jordan sat near her and hold his hand while looking at his beautiful eyes. " I want us to have our own business", she explained. "I want to open our own travel agency"

"Its not so easy Kiara", Jordan said. "I mean its not like i don't trust you but there are so many risks associated. What if the business failed etc?"

"Let me finish my project and then i will show you", Kiara said positively." Then you decide if we can go ahead or not. But for now let me work on it".

Jordan groaned but finally accepted. He let Kiara work on the project while he went into the kitchen to fix a dinner. 

It is not easy to prepare such a brilliant project whereby the bank will accept to give the loan. However Kiara was not someone to accept defeat so easily. She spent several sleepless nights before finally preparing the master piece. Jordan was very impressed when he saw her work.

"I am with you. We will go to the bank tomorrow itself and will see what they will say", Jordan said.

"Hopefully they accept".

The next day Kiara dressed up in a black skirt and white blouse while Jordan wore a formal suit. He was not ready to wear any suit but Kiara had insisted. Together they went into the bank and apply for a loan with all the necessary documents. They had a long discussion with the manager but as predicted, the manager ask for a little time to consider their request for loan.

"Give me at least one week time. I will let you know".

They agree and left a copy of the project with the manager. As soon as they were out of the bank, Jordan pulled Kiara closer to him and murmured in her ears, "So tonight i am going to make you pay for all the time you left me aroused and hungry".

Kiara felt butterflies in her tummy. It has been many days since they last had sex. But she has other important things to do as well.

"Baby we have to try our luck in another banks as well. I mean at least we have to apply in 5 banks to see what they will decide. Hopefully one will agree to give us the loan and we could start our dream".

"Again?", he frowned. " And also five more banks.. Kia please we need a break".

"No josh baby", she disagree. " We have our chance now and we have to prove ourselves. Tomorrow we will go to another bank and will see what they will say".

Jordan was really tired going from bank to bank. He was feeling disappointed but Kiara was always positive. Finally all the five banks have accepted to grant them a loan. Jordan was extremely happy and congratulate Kiara.

" But now which one will you chose?", Jordan inquired.

"Obviously the one with the lowest interest rate".

"You are a genius honey. I love you", Jordan said sincerely.

" Oh by the way i forgot to tell you, your friend Lucy had phoned and was looking for you. She was saying that she really need your help", Kiara mentioned casually as she began to prepare for lunch.

"Ok i will call her back." Jordan said. He stopped Kiara from cutting the vegetables and look at her intensely. "You are not jealous?".

She smiled and said "I love you Josh and where there is love there is trust. I trust you more than myself and its not a 5 second phone conversation with a girl that will make me lose trust on you."

Jordan felt so happy to know that Kiara trust him so much.

"What if someday i break your trust?"

Kiara expression change and for one moment it was as if really Jordan had betrayed her. Even the thought of it brought tears into her eyes.

"You will break my very existence then", she said sadly. " I will shatter into a million pieces and maybe will never be able to get over it".

Jordan hugged her as he realized that she was so emotional. He consoled her and help her to prepared the lunch. Tomorrow its a big day for them as they will finally get their loan.
