Alex POV
I followed the doctor out to the tardis. She locked the door and said
"Shimmer!" I felt different. I said
"Doctor... What are you talking about?" She started to cry and I moved closer to her and asked
"What's wrong?" She said
"No...no no no!" She picked up a vase of roses and threw it. Shattering against the door. She asked
"Did you know? Or were you trying to get closer to me?" I asked
"What are you talking about?" She got a mirror and held it in front of me... She got her sonic out and soniced me. Then everything just went dark.
The doctors POV
I pushed him out... He was a dalek. I held my knees to my chest and I cried. Soon I felt arms around my waist. I gave in and said
"J-Jack he was a dalek..." More tears streamed down my cheeks. I said
"First Kaytlyn... No him and I can't take it anymore!" I opened up the tardis doors. Revealing galaxies and trillions of stars. I said
"We are like bacteria compared to this. We are like dust! Microscopic... What would the difference be if I wasn't here... So many people would still be here." As I started to lean out of the door jack grabbed my waist. He said
"If we are dust or bacteria... You are a really important speck of dust! You saved more people then you lost... I'm not telling you to forget them. I'm telling you to look ahead." I kissed his cheek and said
"Jack... Why did you even come here..." He smiled reassuringly and said
"I sensed something was up and decided to come see you." I smiled and said
"That must've been a strong gut feeling." He hugged me tighter and kissed my forehead. I said
"Jack... Is river still okay?" He said
"Yeah of course." I smiled but it was distant. He asked
"What are you planning?" I said
"Nothing... This is my last regeneration... Maybe! I'm just saying this version of me could go any second... Even regenerating is like dying." He said
"Hey don't say that kind of stuff!" I mummbled
"Well its the truth!"
Jack pov
I said
"I don't care if its the truth!" I cuddled closer to her and she said
"Well I don't think I should get another companion." I smiled and said
"Well there is one person I can think of... That can be your companion!" She said
"No... Stop it!" I continued on
"He can't die! You won't lose him and..." She said
"Stop it... You know the answer!" I finished
"And he is right here next to you. He might just French kiss you!" She said
"No jack stop it!" I backed her up to the controls and kissed her. I attempted to deepen the kiss but she pushed me away and slapped my cheek. I said
"Ow! I guess that's a no." She said
"Its always a no!" I winked and said
"I'm sure I can push you to the limit of liking me." She said
"Yeah... Right I would like to see you try!" I asked
"Is that a challenge that you ask of me?" She said
"Yeah! I think it is." I looked at her and said
"You know I greatly accept this challenge!" She smiled at me and said
"Jack get to bed!" I said
"Okay I will be in my room if you need anything!" I winked and added
"I mean... Anything!" She pushed me and said
"Yeah I get what you mean... I need to rest! Too much has happened to me today." I smiled and said
"Okay I might as well turn in too for the day." With that we went to our rooms and got some shut eye.
